Non-scale victory of the week!

Had custard 3 out of the usual 7 days this week. That prob doesn’t sound like a victory to most people but it is for me bc I’ve been eating every. single. day. for the past 2 years almost. At this point it is an addiction to the sugar/milk and I think doing a total 10 day sugar/dairy cleanse will help me shake it. Plan on doing the cleanse in June!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Next week I will restart my squat workouts and the strength training. I did do my walks with the dogs but the strength training is really important.

Hmmm

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Non-scale victory of the week!

I walked through the unavoidable candy aisle at the grocery store during my lunch break and I sooooo wanted some gummies but I didn’t and I have stayed away from ALL added sugars today! Also, I went ice skating with my boo and a group of friends, it was really fun to get out and do something active ⛸

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I have not been consistent in following the Hashimoto Protocol guidelines the past couple days (i.e gluten &dairy free, no processed/sugar added foods etc) I’d say I’m following it about 50%. my goal for Thursday & Friday is to be at 80% and to track my food with the My Fitness Pal app!

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

Having fluctuations in my weight because of the new Hashimotos diagnosis and starting on a thyroid medicine & still not having it at the right level. I’m kind of scared more about short term not making the DietBet
