  • GOODMORNING ALL!

I know the DietBet is coming to an end but DONT let yourself fizzle out! Remember this DietBet was to help give you a kickstart. Not a start and end. I encourage you to keep up with the healthy habits you’ve developed and come back to my next game even farther along in your journey!!!!

This journey is HARD. The hardest. But the only way you won’t succeed is if you give up. Where could you be a year from today if you just kept going. Despite the INEVITABLE “slip ups” or days you skip your workout. Think big picture. 365 days. How many more days are you going to let go by?

My next DietBet will be in January. The start of a new year. After such a horrible year, I think it’ll be a much needed refresher. But don’t let the rest of this year go by just “waiting until the new year” Think of how much progress you can make in just a few months!

Set yourself up for success with meal planning, planning your workouts, self care, and constantly reminding yourself that no matter what happens...you are DONE quitting

Comment below 2 healthy habits you want to keep consistent with! I will choose 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash!

  • We are getting closer to the end and it’s so crazy to me how fast this went!!!!! Remember EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU should be so dang proud of yourself.

As we are getting closer to the end I want you to keep your “why” in mind. Why are you doing this? What drives you? I want to hear everyone’s “why”

Post here in the comments (or make a separate post) what your “WHY” is. WHY do you want to lose the weight/get healthy? What drives you? My why is always my babies. Losing weight has allowed me to be the absolute best, most active mom that I can be. And that means the world. I wanted to be healthy, but I also wanted to be happy. Keep your why close by. Whenever you feel discouraged always think of WHY you started in the first place.

I will be picking 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash 💘

  • I missed this yesterday but I’m still going to post. This is my why....Me. I know that sounds cheesy, but I want to be the best I can possibly be. I want to carry children someday, I want to live a long life, and most of all I want to be happy. For the last couple years I got comfortable in my relationship and didn’t care anymore. I’m starting to love myself again and be more confident. I’m doing this for me. I am my why.

  • So if you were in my previous DietBet you’ll remember when I talked about starting to think about your “reward” for finishing this game! Yes, I said finishing, not winning. Remember that no matter how much you loose, no matter if you hit the 4 week goal, you are still a winner. You joined. You challenged yourself. You hopefully made yourself better physically and mentally.

So when the game is over, I know a lot of people like to celebrate with food! Which is A OK WITH ME!!!! In moderation of course! Enjoy and move on!!! But I would love to encourage some non food related rewards as well! When this game is over I do NOT want you to think “ah I’m done! Free for all!!!!!” And go back to old habits . I want you to start finding other ways to treat yourself.

    Examples:

    A new workout outfit
    New shoes
A new piece to your wardrobe
    Nail day
    New hair style
    Apple Watch/ fit bit
    Etc

Comment below a non food related reward youre planning for yourself! I will pick 4 winners to give $50 PayPal cash to go towards that!💓

  • Sustainability. Something that took so long to click for me. I thought there was only 1 way I lose weight and it had to be extremely clean eating and killing my self in the gym 7 days a week. If I strayed from that at all.... I was a “failure”

And THAT is why I could never lose weight. In the same cycle over and over and over. FINALLY once I realized that I could eat foods I loved, I didn’t have to DREAD each meal, I could find workouts I actually enjoyed.... I was successful.

No. The one meal you ate at the restaurant didn’t ruin any progress. YES, its okay to eat a donut with your family on Sunday. You don’t need a half dozen of them. You skipped the gym to spend time with family? THATS OKAYYYYY

STOP putting unrealistic expectations on yourself and then beating yourself up when you don’t stick to them. BALANCE.

Love finding things I can enjoy and still loose weight! Thank you for this!

Totally love this!!! I’ve learned this myself & since starting diet bets last June, I stopped with the unrealistic diet expectations and decided to go with balance! The whole process of becoming healthy has been so much more enjoyable and peaceful and I’m getting results!

  • I just like to do a little check in on Saturdays and prepare you for the week ahead. HOW IS EVERYONE DOING?! I know we just started but I want you to reflect on the last few days.

***Tomorrow we will be doing Set Up Sunday so start thinking of how you want your meals to look for the week! I will be doing this also and posting here!***

Comment below and tell me 1 thing that went well this week and 1 thing you really want to work on for the week ahead! I will pick 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash!

My goals for this week are to STICK TO MY MEAL PLAN to the T! And to get my butt to the gym every day that I can (working around husbands work schedule) and to do AT LEAST 20 minutes of cardio along with my lifting. Since in maintenance I’ve usually just been doing 10 minutes but I really want to get leaner for this photoshoot so I’m going to push myself this month!

I’m down 2.7 lbs! This past week I stayed within my points most days but dipped into my weeklies a few days. My goal this week is to stay within my points as strictly as possible and to drink more water!

One thing that went well was my run friday night. It's cold but I brought both of my kids. My three year old held my hand. I teared up. My 9 year old who gained a little ran with me too and didnt stop even though I knew he was struggling. We then weighed ourselves sunday and figured out how much water we all need to drink to help our bodies. This is turning in to a family thing this time which makes me more accountable because I'm on stage with the biggest audience ever!

  • THE GAME HAS STARTED! OMG. I am so pumped and ready for this and I hope everyone else is too! I am going to kick things off by introducing myself for anyone here who doesn’t know me

My name is Felicia Keathley and I am a 25 year old stay at home mom of 2 boys! 3 years ago I started my weight loss journey at 302 pounds at my absolute rock bottom. I felt like I had tried SO many things to lose weight but would always end up quitting. I was at the point where I wanted to get weight loss surgery but my insurance needed proof of a failed weight loss program. So that’s why I joined WW (weight watchers) basically just expecting to fail. 3 years later here I am! Down 145 pounds naturally with WW and exercise

I truly believe I was put on this earth to share my story and help others not only lose weight but change their mindset to be able to keep the weight off. So like I say all the time, YES this is a weight loss challenge, I also want you to dig deep and focus on all the other aspects that come along with weight loss. NO MORE all or nothing mentality. NO MORE quitting after one night out. This is forever. And I am here to help.

Lets kick this off with the first of many giveaways! Comment below what your goals are for this game (you can share your scale goal if your comfortable) but I want to hear those NON SCALE GOALS. I will pick 3 winners to each win $50 PayPal cash!

Stay tuned for Set Up Sunday where we will set up for the week ahead! The game is starting on a Thursday so its kind of weird timing. But take these next few days to write down some meal ideas, snack ideas, etc. LOTS of which will be posted here. POST AWAY! We all want new ideas!

I will be in here everyday with a new post so make sure you’re checking back daily! I try my absolute best to like and/or comment on everyones posts. I am a mom of 2 SO you will probably hear from me more at night time or nap times lol!

If you need any technical help you can email support@waybetter. com

    WELCOME!

I am ready for this to kickstart me back to my goal weights 157 is the area I feel most comfortable at chasing after my two young boys! Quarantine has been a little tough on healthy habits - gonna use this time to focus on restarting those and other healthy routines

Freckleheckle

Late posting but I wanted to comment. My goal for this game is to get a handle on my sugar intake. That includes artificial sugar too.
