My diet has been a bit of a mess. My weight is fluctuating 4 pounds day to day! Argh salt, cheese, snacks...need to figure it out.

Oh I know the root cause. It’s been crazy stressful at work with a ton of anxiety resulting. And food/wine is my comfort.

This is my accountability post. It all changes now

Good for you knowing what the issue is and changing it! I've been doing ok but totally lost control at a family function today. Back on track tomorrow. We can do this! Just 2 more weeks then last month woo hoo!

Hey guys although it sucks that many of us have stalled at this point (me too), it’s encouraging to know we’re not alone!! So this post is just a fist pump and a shout. Like my Brazilian friend always says, “Let’s kick this pig in the face!!” I believe each of us who’s willing to put in the effort will exceed the desired outcome for this bet. Very random, but for anyone who speaks Chinese - 加油!💪

I’m playing with the idea of starting another DietBet. There is a 3% Kickstarter out there or maybe another transformer.

My reasons to start one- my weight loss has stalled since I’ve met my 10% I’m not working as hard at it. I’ve relaxed a bit.

My concern is I may also be on a bit of a plateau and don’t want to set myself up for failure (and losing money!)

What are your thoughts? After a transformer have you plateaued it been able to push through with another game and be successful?

Whew! Good to know that I am amongst good company! I too have been fighting a 1 month stall and was super disappointed that I didn't lose in the last weigh-in, so my fitness coach advised me to ramp things up a bit, so I too have joined another Kickstarter, cut down my carbs WAY down, increased the intensity of my workouts, and made some adjustments to my treat day and water intake. And that did the trick! I have a feeling that when I get down to my last 5 lbs. I will have to do a similar thing as my body doesn't like to be under that weight limit. I plan on doing another Kickstarter in November to get me to my goal weight by the end of the year. I swore to myself that I'm not going into 2021 the same person I was in 2020!

My weigh-in has been verified! I was nervous I wasn’t going to make it but I did with some wiggle room. I’m in the 140’s as of today with out clothes but with my weigh in clothes, I’m at 150.4. This is my 2nd dietbet and it has really helped me stay accountable. I don’t remember the last time I was in the 140’s.

Serious plateau. I’ve met my goal. It’s not about the diet bet. It’s just frustrating that the scale hasn’t moved in a month! Starting a new workout. Gonna see if switching it up will jump start my body.

What have you done to successfully break through a plateau?

So the last two weeks I was doing a workout that was 20 min HIGH intensity. I didn’t really feel like that was what works for me. Some of the moves were too much for me to do on hardwood floors so I felt like I was missing the IT factor. I went back to a Boeing style program that I started this program doing. I’m hoping the cardio/strength combo that kick started my metabolism once will do it again.

Thanks everyone. I don’t know if IF is for me. I may try it if. Don’t see a change in the next few weeks though b

Leanne Vogel talks about how some women may need to do weekly “Carb-Ups” to break plateaus, similar to what Becks said. I struggle with that, though, because if I add just a few carbs to my diet I get hit with terrible carb cravings. This week I’ll try Leanne’s suggestion of just a small carb-up in the evening so I sleep thru the sugar lows. Good luck-you can do this!!!
