  • Lunch is 2 cups taco meat cooked with a bag of cole slaw mix. Then I scooped out 2 cups of the mix and am eating it with 2 Xtreme Wellness (spinach and Herb tortillas. They have 15 carbs each and 11 grams of fiber. Delicious!

  • !!Update!! TMI but AF came and I dropped 1.4 lbs overnight 😂 just submitted my weight in 1.2 lbs below goal! Hormones are a real thing 😆 it’s madness, ladies…

    The jury is still out…waiting one more day, as monthly hormones mess with the scale. For a few minutes there I had myself a real pity party / angry cry, because I worked so hard and was at goal for the past week and even though I did “all the right things” I felt like I was being robbed of my moment of glory.
    Ilana always says if you are not losing you are learning - so I asked myself what I am meant to learn in this moment, and here it is:
    If I am going to be a person who can look at 97% success, and only see failure, then I am never going to successfully lose weight with a positive mindset. If I gave 97% effort and got 97% of the way to goal, that is an incredible success! Do I want money? Heck ya 😆 but the real goal is to keep losing and learning. So my glass is 97% full today, no matter what the scale says tomorrow 💙

  • So bad news: my DH of 30 years had to go to ER this past Monday and have an emergency procedure. He spent the night in ICU and the next few days in the hospital. I’ve been overwhelmed and not been able to drink water, eat healthy, exercise or sleep.

    The good news: my DH is alive and home with me. He had great doctors that saved his life. I have a lot of support from my family and friends. We are truly blessed.

    This is my 3rd DietBet and I may not win this one, and that’s okay. Being healthy is a lifelong process and there will be bumps in the road. I know the next few weeks will feel like this, but the worst is over.

    Before I go, I just want to say to myself what I tell others:
    -This is tough, but I am tougher.

Mixed feelings this morning:

I am up 0.4lbs from yesterday but I feel tighter and less fluffy. Also didn’t 💩 before (sorry if tmi)
Yesterday I didn’t eat a froyo with my son’s pto event after dinner and kept my hands on the wheel holding my bevvy.
Trying my hardest not to feel discouraged and to keep consistent today
