  • What swaps did you make this weekend to hit your Dietbet goal??? Don’t worry if you’re not there yet it’s not too late. Drink loads and loads of water today eat lots and lots of vegetables and you can still do your weigh out tomorrow. Supper last night was the same As Valerie’s ( my parents love salt and butter) so scale was up this morning but I had very small portions of there salads and brought raw veggies and green beans for me to eat. Tonight for supper the boys had hamburgers so I forgone the bun and made it into a sexy salad.

  • Wow. Guys. Holy…monkeys. Tears of joy are happening. This morning, I broke through my fitness plateau and to reward myself I went to Nordstrom Rack to FINALLY buy the dress I’ve been eyeballing for summer for MONTHS!

    Back in September, I came in, tried it on and it wouldn’t roll past my waist because it was just way too tight. I was SO upset because I loved the color and the style but it was just too small even as a women’s XL. I went home, had a glass of wine and tried to put the disappointment behind me.

    So this morning, after the gym & before work, I rolled up to the Nordstrom Rack and found the same dress on the clearance rack! I took big belly breaths and steeled myself for the fitting room. And… the dress swallowed me whole!!! 😲😲 It’s WAY too BIG for me now! Folds of fabric everywhere in the places I couldn’t even get over my curves before! WHAT IN THE WHAT?! I cried lol. What a journey. What a crazy hard mental journey and now the rewards that seemed so far away are SO SWEET. I couldn’t fathom being here even at the end of last year, 40lbs heavier than I am now or especially 2 years ago, 61 pounds heavier! Like Ilana always says, 2lbs at a time. Just focus on 2lbs at a time and trust the process and eventually you’ll get there. She’s right! The journey isn’t over but the process sometimes feels just as good! I guess I’ll have to go back and shop some more but this time with a lot more confidence! 🙌🎉😍

I would loveore ideas myself! This week I prepped taco salad for the week. I usually use ground turkey and some Greek yogurt (in place of sour cream) for protein.

I roast eggplant “discs” ahead of the week and use them as sandwich thins - my go-to lately (w/ laughing cow cheese & turkey). Also do Turkey wraps with whole wheat tortilla or romaine lettuce.

Feeling frustrated. I’ve been drinking a minimum of 120oz of water each day; getting at least 12k steps in each day, eating lots of veggies and fruit and adding protein as much as I can. I haven’t drank alcohol in over 3 weeks. The scale has stayed pretty much the same. Though I’m down 4 pounds from start of this, it hasn’t moved all week…help!!

When I stall out on my weight loss I am usually eating too little calories. I think I'm eating enough, but when I enter it into a cal counter I am actually under eating. My body resists weight loss when it feels like its starving. I usually start loosing again when I add a bit of carbs back in and also up the protien and veggies. It's a bit of a pain, but if you are logging your food already, it might help to log them into a calories counter app instead for a little bit so tou can see what you are actually ingesting. I also agree with a previous comment about making sure you are getting enough salt with all that water. Good luck you can get through this plateau!

I hear you, was in the same boat for over a month until finally seeing change within the last few days. For me I think it’s salt + timing of meals (eating too late). Changing up the veggies you’re eating and/or protein can help too!!

Also I drink just as much water…I don’t think it’s too much, but that’s just me!

Plateaued a bit but need to drink more water and add a little cardio


I'm 2 lbs away, so I'm tracking everything on This morning's breakfast: 2 coddled eggs; 2 slices fresh tomato; 2 oz's (6 pieces) steamed asparagus = 144 calories, 5 carbs, 1 fiber, 12 protein.
