Sometimes if I dont :poop: the scale will go up a bit. It will even out over time though, don’t give up :blush:

I not only want to be stronger, but I want to be happy with the way I look in pictures from my vacations where I am doing crazy things like climbing volcanos. I am proud of my accomplishments - but the vain side of me wants to also look going doing it.

How are people doing????? I am going out to eat a couple of times over the next few days. Going to plan my “treat” ahead of time — a glass of wine at dinner . Planning to enjoy the company of my friends/family instead of fixating on the food

  • 🌟 A non scale victory, last night my husband received a notice of a job offer and he wanted to reward himself with 🎂
    Usually, we would get a whole cake, that we eat for days and I asked for a compromise that we could have “real” cake if we just order a slice a piece. He agreed and we got cheesecake each from the Cheesecake Factory. I would normally eat a whole slice, shoving down the last few bites, uncomfortably. This time, I ate each bite with intention taking long pauses in between and really checking in on how much I was enjoying it. When I felt like the taste wasn’t as enjoying, I closed the lid and put it in the fridge. I may just split the other half with my husband so I don’t eat the whole thing!

  • I thought I’d check my measurements after my Pilates class this morning. Here is some motivation for you - since we started on 5/31 I have lost 4.9lbs, 1.5” in my chest, 1” in my waist, 1” in my hips and 1/2” each both thighs. That’s 4.5” lost. So huge. That right there made me so happy I started with these nutritional changes - it really is a healthy mindset! Hope everyone is doing well today.
