It’s truly the little things that matter. Pass up that soda and chug some water. Pass up those cheese-itz and have some string cheese. Pass up that pasta and have some broccoli. Not to say that we can never have those “bad” foods again, but when we make small healthy swaps everyday, it adds up to big results.

I am currently 60lbs down and counting and I couldn’t be happier.

  • So I sabotaged myself this week,,, Ate good during the day and at night let myself give into cravings.. I gained a couple pounds but today back down to my starting weight... so I am not going to sabotage myself for the next three weeks. Here is my Affirmation: I am going to stick to my effort Goals:Drink all my waters and prep my veggies so I can eat healthy during the day and night...I can do this.....

I just ran a mile and I usually would run 3 miles on the treadmill but running outside is completely different. Celebrating my mile!

Awesome. I agree running treadmill to outside completely different. My body likes the variety of outside better as it isn't so repetitious for muscle and bone. Keep up the physical and mental challenge. It's truly awesome to acknowledge each win.

Trying so hard to view exercising as a daily routine like brushing my teeth and showering instead of a “sacrifice”. A good thing to remember is that you don’t always HAVE to do a full, crazy workout. As long as you get your body moving (like dancing, cutting the grass, going up and down the stairs, walking around the block,etc) is all that matters! I didn’t get to go to the gym today but I did a 30 minute HIIT workout at home while the baby watched her favorite show. Everyone wins! 😂 I hope you all had a great and productive day!

Eggplant lasagna is amazing! I’ve added zucchini, yellow squash, carrots and potatoes (you can omit the potato) with the eggplant and it is amazing! That’s basically moussaka, so good! Great way to incorporate veggies most and Ilana adds cauliflower rice to the ground beef, I add spinach and cabbage too! Super good!

  • Shakeology w/spinach and frozen cauliflower and a kodiak cakes waffle with PB! I have been losing weight the last few days and today was the first day I stayed the same. However, when I put on my workout clothes this morning, they felt like they fit better than the day’s prior. That plus the weight not moving gives me the mindset of “I’m doing great! I can relax on the nutrition a little not to reward myself + what’s the point of focusing on nutrition if I did that yesterday and the scale didn’t move”. This is ALWAYS the time I self sabotage. It makes no sense i know. Today I am giving myself the gift of staying focused - all because of this diet bet!

I had this issue last diet bet, for 5 days straight I was eating so clean and biking everyday and no change in the scale but sure enough it did fall off, two days later so if not today then tomorrow or the next. It’s probably sodium retention, so drink more water and you’ll see the scale drop!
