Overall this challenge has been pretty rough. I usually feel very confident entering the last week, but I didn’t time myself right this time.
We got a puppy to help with anxiety and depression, but it ended up exacerbating everything. We were not used to a living needy dependent being at our place. All our routines crashed down. I missed gym two straight weeks. I wasn’t eating right. Sleep has taken a huge blow. That’s also why I’ve been quiet in the game.
So... all and all, we’ve been adapting. I just got back in diet the wagon. I’m not sure I’ll win the bet yet. I’m regulating carbs and sodium, but... let’s see.
What I learn during this period was resilience. Resilience to create new routines. Resilience to not give up. Resilience to adapt to new realities.

I’ve been struggling with anxiety and depression this past month and really many years so I definitely feel for you and know how hard that makes weight loss. I bet your puppy will eventually help, just give it a little time, it gets easier? I remember when I first got mine how strenuous and stressful it was but eventually you and the puppy also adjust and know what to expect from each other, and then the bonding can start. I’m proud of you for not giving up, and whether you win or lose, you got this! :hearts:

Thrilled to drop the weight, but the app has “bet” in its name, so it is about winning money to some degree. How’s that working out for me? Well, given that I somehow signed up for the drawing thing (never meant to), I actually lost money even though I won. Paid $40 in, “won” $37.38. Interesting math. Cancelling the one I just signed up for since it really doesn’t matter. I can keep track of my weight on my own just fine, but I thought the “bet” part of this would be fun. Not so much.

Anyone know of other apps like this that actually work better in the “bet” part? 😁

Try a transformer instead I made more that way. But I’m gonna try healthy wage too. I just like the community and monthly goals to stay on track here. I join 5 games at a time so for January I made $12 dollars for all games. Keeps me more invested too.

Christy, did u make it? I did NOT - went to stay w/ daughter so I could help her make goal weight but adapted a few of her bad habits. Even took my own scale. I was w/in a pound Saturday but finished off by 3 pounds! Was the winning really $101?
