  • HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!! Starting off week 3 and I want to know what your going to do this week to push yourself!!!

Whether that means an extra 10 minutes on your workout/walk, hitting a water goal each day, sticking to your meal plan, etc. What are you going to do this week to show yourself how capable you really are? STOP making excuses , STOP looking back and look FOWARD. If you’ve been struggling the first half of this DietBet, that doesn’t mean your down and out. How much progress can you make physically and mentally in the next few weeks? Not ONLY striving for that 4% goal, but striving for a better you. A you that is READY to make 2021 the year you don’t give up on yourself.

My goal this week is to get 20 minutes on the stairmaster each day I workout ! I’ll be posting proof here to keep myself accountable. I want you to write your goal in the comments. I will pick one person to win a pair of Apple Air Pod pros!

I will be staying on track with my WW points and tracking everything. I’ve stuck to it this far and am just one pound away from winning this DietBet. I want to CRUSH it!!
I’m so tired of losing and gaining the same 30 lbs! :weary:

ashley s.

I have 2 goals... my physical goal is to make a commitment 30 minutes of exercise 5x a week. My job is stationary and this is very important to me. My second goal is mental. I am trying to train myself to not focus on dates and timelines. Getting healthy isn’t a race. If it takes you 3 months or years, I need to make sure I don’t give up because all of those times I have up I would have crossed the finish line by now. It’s about a lifestyle change- not a race to fit in an outfit by a certain date.

Felicia K.

  • Remember that while yes, the goal of this game is about losing that 4%.... I want you to have other goals as well. Goals that don’t involve the number. Goals that make you feel PROUD, confident, strong. Things that are going to set you up for long term success

If you’re thinking this is a 4 week challenge and then it’s “over” you have the wrong mindset. This journey is never over. Built new habits that can help you sustain this weight forever. Have a treat here and there to build that healthy relationship and balance with food. Do we wanna lose the weight or lose the weight AND keep it off.

Comment below one thing you’re proud of so far on this journey (not scale related) I will be picking 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash 💖

I’m a huge fan of snacking on deli meats. I’ll pack up a few slices of ham or turkey to munch on through the day. Also love my cheese. I also have my protein shakes, yogurt, nuts, fairlife milk, and protein bars if I get super desperate. Oh and those core power protein drinks. They have like 42 grams of protein in them! It’s a fairlife product so obviously it’s delicious :relaxed:

I’ve been eating a lot of scrambled egg whites and add spinach to it for extra nutrition. I have chicken breasts daily (grilled, baked, or sautéed). I’d love to have easier protein on the go. I have also added some Advocare ready to go protein shakes but that has added sugar. :(

  • I never thought that I'd meet my goal in this diet bet, but with the holidays I knew I'd needed to stay motivated to either maintain or maybe even lose a little bit. Gaining weight would have been way too easy so having a small goal to looks towards was my whole reason to joining this round. Losing 1.6 pounds during the holidays is an accomplishment for me! I hope others are proud of themselves too!

What a great attitude. I’m in the same bucket.... don’t think I’ll make goal but just loosing a few pounds and not going up is a win.

Sharon J.

Yes l won't make goal but l lost 7.7 lbs in the month of December. I feel good about that and will carry my healthy eating habits into the next year! Awesome job Laura:blush:

  • Hey team hey!!!

Happy Thursday & 2nd day of our 2nd week. Hope everyone is doing what they gotta do to make sure you are at goal by the 25th. This game is going to fly by.. it's 11/5 and my biggest focus this game and month is closing my rings everyday. My biggest down fall is always my rest days I want to focus on shifting to active rest days. Making sure I'm getting my steps in. I might adjust my watch goals on those days to help. Right now I think Im at the highest setting on apple watch.

Anyways if you didn't already see I posted the 2nd workout challenge on our dietbet IG account @Isfrannyfityetdietbet

Here it is, a quick and effective burner:

    10 ROUNDS
    30 jump ropes
    10 squats

You can add this workout into your routine. You can use it as a warm up or a finisher. If you dont have a jump rope jog in place or do knee raises. Modify where needed. Make sure you come back to this post by Friday evening and post if you completed the challenge or not. I will pin this post to the top of our game wall. I will be doing 2 more cash giveaways for $50 each. GOOD LUCK GUYS AND LETS BURN SOME CALORIES.
