    Personally I am proud of the fact that even though I have been traveling for work this week I have made relatively great nutritional choices and I am heading home today to finish out the week strong!

  • Week 4 All Out Challenge
    Congrats! You have completed the third week of our challenge! We are almost to the finish line! So many of you did such an amazing job completing last week’s well-balanced challenge! Not only did most of you hit your goal, but most of you exceeded it! You spent the week fueling your body with healthy meals and now it's time to go ALL OUT!

    This week (11/16-11/20) I challenge you to go ALL OUT! Whatever your goal is right now I challenge you to get serious. Whatever meal plan you are following, stick to it! Whatever exercise program you are doing, crush it! As we are getting to the end of this challenge, remind yourself why you started, keep the promise that you made to yourself, and remind yourself that if you get serious this week YOU CAN get results! Log your food, your exercise, your water intake, etc. EVERY day for the next 5 days (Mon-Fri)! Like I have mentioned previously I track my meals by hand in my planner, but you can use any tracking app, a note in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

    Submit your tracking by the end of the day on 11/21 to a check-in thread that I will post the morning of 11/21 to the group & the one amazing winner will be announced on Sun. 11/22! This week’s winner will get my favorite 6 quart Instant Pot! Let's aim to crush our goals this week and end this game strong!!! You’ve got this!!!

    Hooray! You made it through the second week of our challenge! We are halfway there! So many of you did such an amazing job completing last week’s movement challenge! Not only did most of you hit your goal of moving for at least 45 minutes every day, but most of you exceeded it! Way to go!

    This week (11/9-11/13) I challenge you to be super intentional about what you are eating. I challenge you to incorporate (and track) at least ONE nutrient dense, well-balanced meal every day this week Mon.-Fri.! That is a minimum of 5 meals total! Like I have mentioned previously I track my meals by hand in my planner, but you can use any tracking app, a note in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

    Submit your tracking by the end of the day on 11/14 to a check-in thread that I will post the morning of 11/14 to the group & the winners will be announced on Sun. 11/15 along with our final challenge! This week’s winners will get a $40 Amazon gift card! I will be choosing two separate winners at random. One winner will be someone who completes the challenge in its entirety & one will be someone who tried their best but may not have stayed as consistent as they’d hope! I know many of you have full schedules between work, family, and commitments but I want you to see that preparing one healthy meal a day at home doesn’t take much of your time and that you don’t have to dread the kitchen!   • So far so good. Hurricane headed our way today but still motivated enough to make my version of the chick-fil-a kale crunch salad. Kale, pepitas, and seeds of change brown rice and quinoa mix, with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

  • After my run this morning, lunch is a salad. It's got chicken, small pieces of bacon, tomato, mozzarella, green apple and walnuts. Just a year ago you would never catch me eating a salad, but back then I had no idea they could be so delicious!

  • Started my Sunday right with a run. Usually I run 3km (2 miles) but as of last week I decided to try 5km more often (3 miles). I do believe I'm dying but I did complete the run. That's a nsv for me :)
    (Before I started exercising at all I couldn't even run half a mile without almost collapsing so every single time I run I feel better because I do really see and feel the difference)
