  • Thanks y’all 😁 I got some great advice from you yesterday!!! Back to basics!! Egg white scramble with veggies and cheese for breakfast every day this week. My husband loves to cook for me. It’s his way of helping me achieve health goals???? :-) I also had my water ready to go first thing in the morning. I haven’t done that in a while and that was helpful. Buffalo grilled chicken salads for lunch this week. And a date at the gym with a friend of mine after work! ????It feels like a new day?! Plus, I added a bunch of Post-it notes in my workspace ?after listening to office hours yesterday!

  • Hi! I need to engage with this group more but it’s been so challenging lately! ?We had to travel and had so much going on in the month of July and it’s the same with August! Plus I just found out I didn’t get a promotion at work I applied for and our dog has cancer again.?? Our daughter (my bonus daughter) is getting ready to have a baby and he’ll be our first grandchild. I’m trying to get things together to make me a priority but it’s been really hard.? I came into the picture when the kids were 10 and 12 so I’ve been around for a long time but it’s always been me and this is very challenging. HELP! Any advice from your mamas or grandmas out there? I’m starting to get overwhelmed and I’m letting myself go as far as making me a priority timewise! ?

Simple meal choices would help. I make a batch of food then warm it up all week for either my lunch or dinner. You want to have as much energy as you can to keep up with your new grandson!! You’ll love being a gramma! :heart:

  • Morning rockstars!! Let’s focus on one day, and just 2 pounds at a time! I know on day 1, it could feel like there’s so much ahead but focus on now. The future will come.

    The best thing you can do now is
    1. Weigh in
    2. Drink up!!! (More water more weight loss! Over exceed you water goal!!)
    3. Plan through your meals for the day and through the night. It doesn’t have to be perfect but it should include veggies and protein so you make sure you are staying full. Getting too hungry is what causes mindlessness)
    4. Invite friends to join us! Use you “invite” button and text/message/email your friends and family. The more people on board with you, the more people to support you. And I’ll be sending prizes to those who get the most people to sign up!

  • My Mantra today was “it’s never too late to get it together.” I had to repeat this all day!! Had challenges with life stress in general today not to mention food choices.
    I Reached out to some friends, hit the gym, wrote my food down and posting in here for accountability! Getting there slowly but surely! It’s marathon not a sprint!

I need advice for a coffee lover. I drink my one cup every morning and I love French vanilla creamer. I really stick to to 2B besides for this. Does anyone have good alternatives that are still tasty?

  • Todays wins: After my “in sight, in stomach” battle with some Oreos this morning…
    I DECIDED NOW…back to basics - 2 bunnies! 120 oz water, big sexy salad for lunch and roasted blackened broccoli and Parm crusted chicken for dinner. Mid afternoon tea for my snack. Mani/pedi after work and a great convo with my bonus daughter! Amazing how much better I feel today! Even tho I’m up on the scale, I choose to move forward and keep on keepin on! And for me…. Writing in this gorgeous journal is key!
