  • I don't like having photos taken of me but had to share! My girls took me out today for a cut and color to celebrate my 25 lbs weight loss and mother's day! My hair is about 8 inches shorter and feels so good! I also noticed my face is so much thinner than it was a few months ago!

For my husband. We do shredded chicken, which I make in the instant pot - so easy. I usually mix in a spice or sauce packet. Frontera brand (Not sure if it’s national) has great Mexican flavor sauce packets, and they are low cal.
That goes in one container and gets heated up.
Then I make a little cole slaw mix with Greek yogurt, lime juice, and just a pinch of stevia if it needs it.
He put them both on a high fiber wrap (ole brand) and that’s his lunch


Ground chicken or turkey with Buffalo sauce and some shredded cheese and sliced veggies and hummus !

  • Trying my best to eat dinner tonight. My niece is so sweet and she made me cauliflower rice with shrimp and veggies. It definitely has been a roller coaster these last couple of months.
    My family and I had to make the very difficult decision and put our sweet angel to rest last night :( She was diagnosed with carcinoma and was declining fast. This is literally my first meal of the day. My water intake has been great though.

  • I am down .5 lbs since Monday. Started my day with 2 scrambled eggs with spinach bell peppers and onions. I am going to make this a weight loss weekend! My personal goal is to loose 2.5 pounds per week. I did not have a good start this week. Hers to changing your mindset and getting it done! Let’s do this!

Remind yourself you need emotional healing, not emotional eating. If there are tempting foods, get them out of sight out of mind. Know yourself, dont test yourself. :heart:

  • Weighed in today and was so happy that I started crying. Thank you all for daily motivation. I am making healthier food choices for my body, actually getting in 30 mins walks everyday (still can’t doing cardio as I get winded so quickly, but hoping to build up my workout stamina), and drinking 100oz of water a day. I don’t think I’ve had this much consistency of regular bowel movements beforehand 😂 sorry TMI. Hope you all have a great Friday.

Weight fluctuations can be hormonal, lack of sleep, etc in addition to too many treats. Are you tracking everything, even bites here and there? Remember the scale and tracker are toosl to help you analyze what is going on. Don't give up though, it's a learning experience!
