  • Since I can’t workout yet, after having my last vein surgery just a week ago( hoping to get cleared on 15th) we walked my oldest daughter up to her 1st day of prek-4. I’m not going to lie I’ve been struggling with not being able to do my workouts everyday, but thankful I’m at least able to walk. This too shall pass, but for now I’m really going to try to hone in on my nutrition. Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!!

Here is just a little something to get you over the week and to start you off right. In my book "You Can Drop It!" I talk about setting up your Environment for success. The goal is to get your space set up so it's extremely inconvenient to gain weight, and extremely convenient to lose weight. For example, ask your spouse or housemates to keep their junk foods and tempting snacks in an opaque container on a very high shelf, and cut up some fresh fruits and veggies so they are the first thing you see in the refrigerator. Use the rest of the week and weekend to set yourself up for success, go and buy what you need- Veggies, lean proteins, waters, etc and comment in this post and let me know what you did and how you did it. No bread or sweets in the house!! Only meats, cheese, eggs, nuts, whole milk, and vegetables. And my soda-stream for low calorie drinks. ("Don't drink your calories.")

Grocery shopped at the beginning of the week to set myself up for success! Lots of fruits and veggies and my “go to” healthy lunches to keep me out of the cafeteria at work.

  • Hey everyone! My name is Danielle and this is my second DietBet. I love the community, encouragement, and accountability it gives. I’m down 50lbs after having my second daughter, but still have a long way to go, and also just had two vein procedures after having a DVT while pregnant with my second exactly one year ago today. I was working out post procedures, had my vein ablations done 2 weeks ago so haven’t been able to work out for 2 weeks. But diet and exercise have been how I’m doing it so far. I’m able to go for walks now but no working out until I’m cleared by my vascular dr.

Hey there! Momma of two! I lost 60 pounds initially with bb and then after my second I was the thinnest I had ever been but did it the wrong way 😬 after my hubby got back from deployment last year well... even before alcohol became a problem. I'm now 30 pounds heavier... it's not like me. I love fitness and I need accountability! I had to get ride of all my size M 😭 my goal by the end of this is to just fit into my new shorts I can't get buttoned lol

I can relate!!! Alcohol is not our friend. Also been through the deployments, hubby has been retired from the Marine Corps since 2013...not sure if I am relieved or wish he had somewhere to go for 7 mos
