  • GOODMORNING and happy Tuesday! It’s TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY but I want to hear about those mental transformations. This journey is so much more then just the physical. If we aren’t transforming INSIDE, it’s almost impossible to sustainable that physical transformation.

    I’ll share! I’ve been on my journey for 3 years now. You guys know I am currently on vacation. We got Duck Donuts (a dozen) yesterday morning. Before I started my journey I EASILYYYY would’ve binged and ate the entire box by myself. In one sitting. I would spend my vacation in my room, eating food/snacks/drinks and not even spending time outside on the beach. I was so lethargic and all I wanted to do was eat. NOW I spend my time with my family, walking around the area with my kiddos, hanging at the beach. I had my protein coffee, a donut and a few bites of 2 others just to taste 😂 COMPLETLY satisfied. Today my husband went to mcdonalds for breakfast sandwiches. Just the thought of how bloated and sick I would feel had me stick to my protein coffee and a healthy eating bar. I feel GOOD and happy. Food doesn’t control my life anymore

I have always been an emotional eater. I went from being size 4 to weighing 268 lbs. and lost 107 lbs. only to gain 40 lbs. back again during the past year due to stress from a divorce and more emotional eating. Well, enough is enough! I am eating healthy, I am feeling better and I’m a much better role model for my son. I know I’m worth it and I just keep reminding myself of that.


Last month I gave up SUGAR, diet soda, most carbohydrates including BEER.. which was tough for me but now I don’t even crave any of it! It’s nuts, I was a craft beer snob and Diet Coke addict, those who relate know those cravings are STRONG! I made a point to learn more about the damage they do to my body. It finally clicked in my head and now I feel so free. :rainbow: :sunny:

  • Doesn't look the best but its SOOOO AMAZING! experimented a bit and came up with this, like a alfredo mac and cheese. I used fiber gourmet pasta also, about 8 or 9 points for the whole thing

  • You know how much I preach about sustainability, so here we go again! ITS SO IMPORTANT. When this dietbet is over I know it can be easy to celebrate with food. But lets get ahead of that.

    FIRST, is it okay to celebrate with a cupcake or a meal out with family? SURE! But don’t let that turn into multiple meals/days and slip back into the old habits. Lets come up with some non food related rewards that you can treat yourself with!

    A new outfit
    New workout shoes
    Fitbit/Apple Watch
    Get nails done/pedicure
    Get your hair done!

  • Okay guys I have to brag about my boyfriend real quick😂❤ Yesterday I had a crazy busy day at work, it was my 6th day straight out of the 12 I'll be working as we are short staffed and have people on vacation, and I ended up working 13 hours with a 30 minute lunch. I stand all day as I work in a bakery and I came home exhausted and my feet hurt so bad I had planned to make us ground turkey burritos but I caved and ordered a pizza and of course ate some 😂 Later on I talked to my boyfriend about how I was upset with myself and that I needed to set my days up better so I dont come home and am so exhausted that I just want to eat unhealthy, I also hadn't eaten anything all day yesterday but, I did do really good with my water. So this morning when my boyfriend went to take my kid brother to his sports camp as hes staying with us all week and they usually pick themselves up McDonalds breakfast on the way and I know it's bad but I usually dont eat breakfast, but not today! He brought me home my favorite smart point friendly breakfast (6 points) and told me hes making dinner tonight (hes making those burritos I didnt make lol😂)!

    I know that was a long rant but it just shows it's so important to have people in your life and surround yourself with people who support your journey and understand the things you are doing❤💜 Also I had one bad meal and am back to normal today, like felicia says it's all about balance and life happens😁 Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm sticking to the healthy foods and portions that were outlined to me by my dietician. I don't feel my clothes fitting any lighter but hoping to see a change this week. I'm not feeling discouraged just more motivated now to try even harder. I journal all my food I eat but thinking it could be my thyroid but still waiting for my doctor to answer me back if she can prescribe me medication after I got blood work and my dietician worried about my TSH levels.
