I finished a Dietbet last week. I squeaked by with .2 lbs to spare. And gained it all and then some back I started that dietbet at 181.0 and started this one at 181.6 so am super bummed.

Weight is just a number and I wish dietbet let us share more than just what we see on a scale. My weight fluctuates quite a bit, especially when I get towards the end of my cycle. Don’t loose heart, we all win some and we loose some.

I’m in the same boat up 6 lbs from my weigh in last week. I decided I could indulge for thanksgiving. Assuming it’s just water weight and will drop off but feel like I keep relosing the same pounds

As predicted, I lost this game. It's okay, though. I lost motivation for a bit so I was off my 0.5kg but I've joined another game so hopefully I win that one. Congrats to everyone who won this round :)

My picture got denied because you couldn't see my face so obviously I have to retake it. No biggie. The thing is the room that has the full length mirror is not my room and I'm working late so won't be able to take the picture tonight. This morning I had a little thing that have a count down to how many hours I had to submit and not it's not there. Anyone know what time I need to get it in by? Is my best bet to just wake up my nephew and take the picture 😂? TIA

I’m soo soo proud of you! Whether you won or didn’t meet the exact goal, you took a major step of bravery that you need to be proud of. You proved to yourself that you care and that you and your health matter, and that needs to be rewarded. So many people succumb to failure and self sabotage by refusing to admit that they care. They say “I don’t care, I might as well eat x,y, and z, and not even try.” It’s a cop-out. The truth is that we only have one body and we need it to function well and make us proud in order to live well. Taking ownership of that is step 1 in getting to your goal and good for you for being way ahead. While it may be the last day of this months game, it’s really just the beginning. This crazy year is still not over!! You still have time to show it who is really in control, who really is the WINNER!! I have a new Dietbet Game right after Thanksgiving. I will be personally coaching you through any and all holiday temptations to get you in the right spot just before the new year! Going into 2021 will be a breeze. Who's with me? Lets do this!!

  • Chicken Alfredo with spaghetti squash and Brussels sprouts (too much sauce, but oh well haha). I find I like Alfredo better with ss vs traditional noodles!

Keep drinking water and submit weight on 7th in am?

If you can wait a day to weigh in do that. Have no salt that day. Drink AS MUCH water as you can, stop eating as early as you can (like no later than 630), get as much sleep as you can. No carbs later on in the day. That what I did!
