  • So if you were in my previous DietBet you’ll remember when I talked about starting to think about your “reward” for finishing this game! Yes, I said finishing, not winning. Remember that no matter how much you loose, no matter if you hit the 4 week goal, you are still a winner. You joined. You challenged yourself. You hopefully made yourself better physically and mentally.

    So when the game is over, I know a lot of people like to celebrate with food! Which is A OK WITH ME!!!! In moderation of course! Enjoy and move on!!! But I would love to encourage some non food related rewards as well! When this game is over I do NOT want you to think “ah I’m done! Free for all!!!!!” And go back to old habits . I want you to start finding other ways to treat yourself.

    New shoes
    A new piece to your wardrobe

    New hair style

  • GOODMORNING EVERYONE and happy MONDAY! A new fresh week!!!!! Let’s start it off with a water challenge. I’ve been slacking the last few days so I NEED THIS!!!! It’s also my time of the month (first cycle since before I got pregnant with Jax, my cramps are insane) so I need to debloat!!!

    Make a water goal and check in here throughout the day. My goal today is 150oz. Off to a late start, just started on my first 40.

    1 thing I’m proud of: sticking to healthy eating and my water even though I am sick. Water tastes so gross when you’re sick lol but I swear it’s what has helped me recover faster!

    1 thing I want to do differently this week: Move my body even when I can’t get to the gym. Walk each day with my kiddos! Beautiful weather, no excuses!

  • My goal this week was to stick to my meal menu but dang this week threw me for a loop😂 2 sick kiddos is not fun. Especially while you’re sick. I’m so dang exhausted. I ate my combo for dinner 2 nights. BEAN AND CHEESE BOMBS TONIGHT! So freaking delish!!!!!

    5sp for 3 bombs + 2tbsp light sour cream (2sp)

    2 ingredient dough (1.5 cups self rising flour, 1.5 cups 0% Greek yogurt) split into 12 equal balls. In each bomb:

    💖 1/2 tablespoon of Tostitos Queso
    💖Fat free refried beans (I don’t measure since 0sp on blue)
    💖Splash of taco bell mild sauce

    Fold into ball and pinch seams together. Bake on baking sheet at 350 for 13 minutes.

Today is my 28th birthday! It is a day I look forward to every year. I am the person who talks about their birthday weeks leading up to it 😂😂. Anyways, my plan for this weekend is to enjoy in moderation. I don’t think I will be tracking, but will focus on portions and really stopping when I’m full. I know the scale will be up a little come Monday, but that’s okay!

    Lets see those transformations!! BIG OR SMALL! Lets motivate eachother! Also would LOVE LOVE LOVE to hear some mental transformations as well!

    I am so sorry I haven’t been commenting on everyones posts. I am DOWN from this sinus infection (JUST a sinus infection thank goodness!) But my head feels like it’s going to explode! Ive lost 4.5 pounds since the start of the bet most likely because I have no appetite at all. Hoping to feel better soon! Husband is off work and going to watch the kids while I sleep it off today!

    Lets focus on WATER today! (ME TOO). Water is so important for weight loss but also for overall health! For me I love to drink a lot of water because it helps me feel fuller during and in between meals! It also flushes out my body and keeps me from being bloated!

    The recommended amount off water per day is 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces! So for example if you are 200 pounds, the recommended amount would be 100 oz! So comment below your goal for the day and check in periodically throughout the day to stay accountable!!! I will choose 2 winners from the comments to win a brand new IRON FLASK. My fav insulated water bottle!!!

    On my weight loss journey (and still now in maintenance) meal PLANNING and setting myself up for success is SO DANG important. How many times have you said “Eh, I’m not sure what to have for dinner so lets just eat out”. This happens to me when I don’t have a plan in place. So every Sunday I write out my menu for the week and get all my groceries based off that menu! Here is this weeks menu!(Also, if something doesnt sound good that day I will switch meals around if I want to based on whatever sounds better that particular day!)

    I totally get everyone does things differently so don’t feel obligated, I just think this is a really great tool and something that helps me a TON! Post those plans for the week!!!!! Love seeing other meal ideas!
