  • We have a beautiful sunroom overlooking our wooded back yard with a treadmill and exercise bike that I have not been using. I told myself today I had to run just 5 minutes on the treadmill... I ended up running 40 minutes with a 10 minute cooldown. Sometimes just getting started is half the battle!! I hope everyone is doing great at whatever exercise they're using to get healthy!!

  • 22k bike ride this afternoon. Such a freeing thing to do, I love it, especially as I got a new bike recently through work and it has suspension on. I don’t feel every single bump in the road now.
    I am very lucky to live on the Leeds Liverpool canal and have a great cycle stretch literally 3mins from my front door. πŸ’œ I use this canal every single day, for walking, cycling, dog walks and very occasionally for a run πŸ˜†

We just finished week one of our dietbet. This is how my past week went-

Goal: Exercise, stick to healthy eating plan (Ultimate Portion Fix), Lots of water, lose 2 ish pounds.

What happened: stress ate like CRAZY, ate so much cookies and ice cream, drank soda almost every day, totally fell off the healthy eating wagon, and gained like 3ish pounds. I did stick to my exercise, but that's the only thing that went to plan.

Ugh. Here's to a new week. So, just in case there's another person out there that didn't have a stellar weight loss week, you're not alone.

I understand how you feel. I actually went up 4 pounds :flushed: from the long weekend (Canada) but just got back to nearly my starting weight after some serious water drinking.

6hrs in hospital today. I have had 2 days of palpitations and my Apple Watch alerted me that my heart rate was under 40bpm overnight.
2 ECGs, blood tests, blood pressure, O2 Sats etc all to reveal an ectopic heart beat and I will be referred to the cardiologist.
Could be something and nothing or less likely something quite major. Still have palpitations now which is annoying.
Anyway, no exercise for me today 😩 still kept to 1200 calories though.

Thanks all. I am now under a cardiologist who will be doing some more investigating. I am sure it’s all fine but just worrying in the meantime. I am still eating well and working out so all good on that front :laughing:
