Rough start to this bet. It’s been an emotional week, and I fully admitted to myself yesterday that I was emotionally eating, which I don’t think I’ve ever truly admitted to before. Thing is, I saw it, admitted to it, and allowed it to continue. For a short period though. Told myself that I could have this one, but tomorrow is a new day and I want and need and deserve to be better. So, here’s to a new day!

I struggle sometimes with emotional eating! You aren’t alone! When I find myself in those situations, I try to just load up on all veggies! You get that comfort feeling of eating, but not the calories as much! Hang in there! Tomorrow is always a new day & a new start!

Here too!! Things just seem to “stick” more. The hot flashes don’t help either. Hopefully getting back in shape will help to lessen the effects. We’ve got this girls, let’s rock this challenge!

Oh my people!!!!! I’ve been peri menopausal for a while, but right now am having the first ever late or no period month. It’s so weird. Also, I can’t tell whether I’m having craving for chocolate every few days bc of this or bc of just getting healthier. This sure is an interesting ride!!!

This was the hardest (& closest) DietBet I have done! Even with a near- miss hurricane, a small surgical procedure, and leaving a job I loved this past month, I still came in (very slightly!) under goal weight. This is my last DB for a while. I’ll maintain this number on the scale for a while before asking my body to let go of a few more pounds. Congrats everyone for focusing on better health!

  • Happy Friday!!! How are you doing?
    As we are wrapping up our game I am excited to head into a 3 day weekend. Curious what are your plans for the weekend? How close are you to hitting your goal? I got up and am attempting to take on a 6 mile run/hike to get my body movin!

Definitely drink more water! I find I do better when I get 80oz of water each day, it’s a lot, but you get use to it! Good luck.

A killer workout this morning that made me proud! I’ve avoided Dunkin donuts for 2 weeks and I’ve eaten clean for 2 weeks! I’ve also added weights to my workouts along with running 2 miles!

Loving the shift in mindset as I’m so much happier and have more energy as a result of prioritizing healthy habits! It’s amazing how much difference consuming the right foods, drinking enough water and being active can make on your emotional and mental health! Certainly being 9lbs lighter and seeing my clothes fit better helps too ;)

I'm there too. Was doing great and only had 1.5 to lose. Had one bbd and then the scale was up 2 more pounds. I have 3.5 to lose still! I'm hiking, biking, eating whole foods and struggling.
