So, real talk. I won Joel and Breanne's diet bet that I was in right before this one and was so excited. I found out I was pregnant halfway thru it, and still (safely) persevered. I decided to jump on this one to see what would happen, which in hindsight was a mistake. I was pregnant, but then I suffered a miscarriage and became pretty depressed and had to stop working out for a week, and was not in an emotional space to limit food intake and diet. I've finally been opening up and openly sharing what happened, which has been very therapeutic. I'm still working out daily, and as of today I am only 2lbs above my starting weight, meaning I still have kept off the 9-10lbs I lost the first time. I would like to finish these last two days strong - obviously I won't make the 4%, but I can still hold myself accountable and go out with a bang.
ETA - not posting this to try and garner sympathy. Just sharing with the community where I'm at.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing with us! You are doing great to give yourself grace in some areas but keep up on things like workouts which are also good for your mental health and stress! Keep reaching out and make sure you have a good support system.

I have 2.6 lbs to lose in 5 days! Anyone have any suggestions? I usually drink about 80 oz of water a day & have limited sugar and alcohol. I am wondering if it would be best to cut out carbs (or have a small amount in the AM), completely cut out sugar and alcohol and then up my water. Anything else that’s worked for you guys?

  • Has anyone ever used this for a post workout recovery? I was interested in BB recover, but it's so expensive. I tried it yesterday and it's just ok, a bit weird, but not terrible. I don't know what it's supposed to really do though.

  • I meal prepped for my lunch this week. These are my salad in a jar. Once I'm ready to eat lunch I put it all on a plate and enjoy. Thought I'd share my lunch bc I forgot to do it earlier this week.
    Anywho...got Barre Blend Week 6, Day 3 done and added a 10 minute Upper Body Ignite bonus from mbfa. Both were amazing! I've been adding bonuses from another program to my main program and I feel like once I start my next one I'll add the bonuses from Barre Blend to that one. Lol. Anyone else do this?!

So I haven't really lost any weight this diet bet (I did great during Joel's). I am doing MM100 doubles but my eating has been less than stellar. I thought about canceling this one, but never did. Then last week I suffered a personal loss and didn't work out for almost a week. I pressed play yesterday and today and am so glad I did. While I probably won't make this diet bet, I have at least been mostly maintaining from the last one, which is still a huge bonus for me. It is encouraging to see how well everyone else is doing though!
