  • Second to mindset, I think what we eat is the part of our weight loss plan that makes the biggest difference. There are a lot of popular diets out there and a lot of eating strategies.

    What works for you? What has come the closest to being your favorite eating strategy for weight loss? For me, my greatest success has come from tracking my calories and upping my intake of fruit and vegetables. So what is your current food plan?

I try my best to count calories and be mindful of what time eating. Increase fruits and vegetables and always drink tons of water. Along with working out consistently it's been working for me so far. 42 lbs down since January!

I find doing macros/calories has been best for me. Hitting protein and calories target is biggest goal for me, then fat/carbs can vary.

Water 1 gal a day goal.

I do have days I have treats (have kids...7.5, 5, 20 mo) but find when I do it's hard to stop at just the 1 treat so find eating pretty clean 80 to 90% of time is best for me (not to mention when I skip lots of added sugars, fried foods, dairy, simple carbs I feel 100% better!)

  • I want to encourage you to think about how much water you're getting daily. Being well hydrated is so beneficial for weight loss and good health!

    Here's a great reason to drink plenty of water:
    Drinking enough water is essential for burning off fat from food and drink, as well as stored fat!

    Many of you have probably already set a personal daily water goal for yourselves, how many ounces a day are you aiming for? How do you track your intake?

  • Yay! It's day number one!

    I'm so glad you're part of this awesome group. Some of you are beginning your weight loss journey, some are nearing the end, or maybe you're somewhere in the middle. Most likely you have a number in mind as your ultimate goal weight! But, no matter how close you are to that, a plan to succeed is so beneficial. My challenge for you is share your plan to re-inspire yourself and others, or sit down and form a plan if you haven't yet. If you're at the beginning think of just one thing you can do today to make yourself healthier as a starting point, no matter how small. That success will propel you forward. Think small goals that will lead you to your big goals! And just for fun let us know where you're from. I'm in Southern UT!

Hey, I’m from NYC and my goal is to be consistent. I have a hard time staying consistent with food, exercise, etc. and I think consistency is the key to success :)


We r from all over, here in Harrisburg area of PA, really want to change things with my eating habits to better healthier meals & hope to get running again, COVID struck me bad 6 mos ago & my lungs taken time to recover but feel I'm ready as fast walking & biking

Made it!!! Barely and didn't think I would as I overindulged last weekend and it hit my scale #hard by Monday morning. But extra careful eating/water and exercise got back down!
