  • I made the weigh in just barely this month (which is the first time since month 1) and I'm happy, but when I see the pictures of myself I am always depressed.

    I need to be happier with the progress. I did a side by side from my month 1 win and today and it helps a little. But I'm so far from where I want to be.

    So I started hitting the weights! (They hit back, as you can see from the bruise). How do you all have the best results to see your mid-section look less "mom" like?!?

Unfortunately I have to bow out of this transformer. I was half a pound from my goal yesterday, but then I ended up in the ER having emergency surgery. I’m not able to do anything for at least 4 weeks. Sadly I don’t think nutrition alone can get me there. Good luck everyone!! I have enjoyed the support and positivity in this group so much!!

Hello! I’m Carey from KS. Corene my stars are almost identical to yours! Started at 212 in October and at 187 now. I started with a personal trainer in January but my weight has really plateaued since Christmas. Seriously hitting 40 has been a game changer and this is incredibly challenging! Focusing on calories and protein also, shooting for 148g per day, it’s tough! Last week I decided to train for a triathlon so I feel like since adding biking and swimming to my running and weight lifting the scale is starting to move again. I have 3 boys, 17, 6 & 2 (they’re all about to have birthdays though so more like 18, 7 & 3) and I also have one beautiful 15 year old daughter who has an extra chromosome. She is starting to work out with me but she’s less than thrilled about it!


Hi! I am Katie from Minnesota. I turned 50 this year. I was down to the lowest weight I have been since I was 25 years old a year ago. I went into all the Covid lock down and was terrified of food shortages and losing my job. We also had just moved, started new jobs and moved my son to a new school. I coped by ditching a ketogenic lifestyle that was working really well for almost a year. And gained 50 pounds by labor day. I did a diet bet of sorts with my mom and dad in the middle of September with a goal of losing 10% of my body weight by Christmas. I decided to really put money down with a kickstarter in October and jumped in with this transformer a couple weeks later. I hit my bet with my parents, knocked the kickstarter out of the park and am at this bet's goal weight right now. I am hoping to lose another 15 to get back to where I was a year ago. And have also done several Way Better lifestyle bets involving exercise. That means between the two sites, I am eating a healthy diet and getting 150 to 300 minutes of cardio in a week. Both tools have been an amazing motivator and have kept me accountable for about six months now.

So far I’ve only won the first round of this transformer being stuck in a plateau for months but I am proud to finally saying I have officially broken the plateau and am only 2 pounds away from this rounds goal! Best feeling ever so freakin proud of myself and the discipline and focus Ive been able to muster these past few weeks, you really can do anything you put your mind to just never give up!!! 😄

I have missed Round 2,3 and 4. But gosh darn it, I’m not giving up. 5.6 lb from reaching goal for Round 5 and staying in the game. Pushing through for the next 24 days and getting this done!!!

Same here and I have been eating clean since mid December. I changed my workout routine so my weight loss slowed down. Now I have 3 pounds to go win round 5 :blush:

Why are the goal weights for round 5 and 6 the same? Since the last round is the biggest pot, shouldn’t it be lower?

  • Just got back from vacation and thankfully only gained 3lbs (mostly water weight) I was able to go to the pool and feel much more confident than when I began this journey in October. A great reminder I can still live life and accomplish my goals. Cheers to another month ahead of crushing those milestones!

Just realized weigh in for this month is the day after I get back from vacation. Yikes! Thankfully right now I’m 8lbs under goal. Hopefully water weight doesn’t mess with my weigh in, but regardless, I’m going to enjoy that time away with my husband and live life!

I just got back from 10 days away and am 2 pounds over the progress weigh in. Glad I relaxed and enjoyed myself. But also glad I have this bet to keep me honest!
