  • GOODMORNING ALL!

I know the DietBet is coming to an end but DONT let yourself fizzle out! Remember this DietBet was to help give you a kickstart. Not a start and end. I encourage you to keep up with the healthy habits you’ve developed and come back to my next game even farther along in your journey!!!!

This journey is HARD. The hardest. But the only way you won’t succeed is if you give up. Where could you be a year from today if you just kept going. Despite the INEVITABLE “slip ups” or days you skip your workout. Think big picture. 365 days. How many more days are you going to let go by?

My next DietBet will be in January. The start of a new year. After such a horrible year, I think it’ll be a much needed refresher. But don’t let the rest of this year go by just “waiting until the new year” Think of how much progress you can make in just a few months!

Set yourself up for success with meal planning, planning your workouts, self care, and constantly reminding yourself that no matter what happens...you are DONE quitting

Comment below 2 healthy habits you want to keep consistent with! I will choose 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash!

  • We are getting closer to the end and it’s so crazy to me how fast this went!!!!! Remember EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU should be so dang proud of yourself.

As we are getting closer to the end I want you to keep your “why” in mind. Why are you doing this? What drives you? I want to hear everyone’s “why”

Post here in the comments (or make a separate post) what your “WHY” is. WHY do you want to lose the weight/get healthy? What drives you? My why is always my babies. Losing weight has allowed me to be the absolute best, most active mom that I can be. And that means the world. I wanted to be healthy, but I also wanted to be happy. Keep your why close by. Whenever you feel discouraged always think of WHY you started in the first place.

I will be picking 2 people to each win $50 PayPal cash 💘

  • Second 40oz of these, plus six cups of coffee, an espresso and the night is young.

  • I missed this yesterday but I’m still going to post. This is my why....Me. I know that sounds cheesy, but I want to be the best I can possibly be. I want to carry children someday, I want to live a long life, and most of all I want to be happy. For the last couple years I got comfortable in my relationship and didn’t care anymore. I’m starting to love myself again and be more confident. I’m doing this for me. I am my why.

    TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY

I LOVEEEEE seeing everyone’s transformations. So motivating and inspiring 😭 I am so dang proud of every single one of you

Sometimes (especially when first starting or when stuck at a certain weight) we can get discouraged not seeing a physical transformation. Which is why focusing on NON SCALE VICTORIES can help keep us going!

How are your clothes fitting? Can you go longer on the treadmill? Your Fitbit band is fitting more loose. SO MANY. This was my favorite. Being able to wrap my towel around my body. But when I FIRST started , having to pull my pants constantly was annoying but such a good non scale victory for me!

Comment below a non scale victory you’ve had on your journey!💗

Went down a size in dresses!

One of my NSV’s has been saying YES to participating in events with my friends and family instead of saying no for fear of how people would think I looked. I spent almost 20 years saying NO to everything. Every time I say YES and show up to ANYTHING it’s a NSV!!

  • So if you were in my previous DietBet you’ll remember when I talked about starting to think about your “reward” for finishing this game! Yes, I said finishing, not winning. Remember that no matter how much you loose, no matter if you hit the 4 week goal, you are still a winner. You joined. You challenged yourself. You hopefully made yourself better physically and mentally.

So when the game is over, I know a lot of people like to celebrate with food! Which is A OK WITH ME!!!! In moderation of course! Enjoy and move on!!! But I would love to encourage some non food related rewards as well! When this game is over I do NOT want you to think “ah I’m done! Free for all!!!!!” And go back to old habits . I want you to start finding other ways to treat yourself.

    Examples:

    A new workout outfit
    New shoes
A new piece to your wardrobe
    Nail day
    New hair style
    Apple Watch/ fit bit
    Etc

Comment below a non food related reward youre planning for yourself! I will pick 4 winners to give $50 PayPal cash to go towards that!💓

  • I just have to say WOW. I am so proud of you all! This thread is so inspiring to read through 😭💖 Today is Saturday so I want to do check ins and make some new goals this week! Tomorrow is set up Sunday so start thinking of what you want for the week ahead!!!!

How did your first week go?!

Comment 1 thing you’re proud of and 1 thing you want to do differently this week! I will choose 2 winners to each win $50 PayPal cash!

1 thing I’m proud of: sticking to healthy eating and my water even though I am sick. Water tastes so gross when you’re sick lol but I swear it’s what has helped me recover faster!

1 thing I want to do differently this week: Move my body even when I can’t get to the gym. Walk each day with my kiddos! Beautiful weather, no excuses!

I am struggling with feeling hungry at the end of the day. I’m doing WW and I’m on the purple plan. Some days I’m fine but on days when I do a HIIT workout I just feel like I’m never full. I’m drinking water and trying to eat fruits and veggies bc those are my 0 point foods but I still feel hungry but don’t want to go over my points. Anyone have any insight it tips on how to help this?!

Air popped popcorn with a mist of olive oil spray. Also, potatoes....

Amy H.

Try adding in a few more whole grains!! You might be extra hungry on the HIIT days cause your body burned it's fuel and is asking for more!!

  • MOTIVATION MONDAY!!!!

I am sure a lot of us are feeling so motivated and excited thanks to this diet bet. But remember its OKAY that some days you just aren’t! Part of what makes this journey so hard is that you WILL NOT always be motivated. Its impossible. If you go into this thinking you NEED motivation to get things done…you will never succeed. Pushing yourself through those moments is the hardest part of the journey but it is what will take you all the way to your goals

My husband ALWAYS told me that the days you DO NOT want to eat right/get to the gym are the days that will give you the results. THOSE are the most important days. The consistency and the strength you have mentally will take you so far. There were 1000000 times when all I wanted to do was lay in bed, but I kept remembering what my husband would tell me. He was SO RIGHT. Consistency is one of the most important parts of a weight loss journey. Are you going to be PERFECT? No. It doesnt matter what you do SOME of the time, what matters is what you do MOST of the time. Always remember that.

    LETS KILL THIS WEEK!

  • I’ve gained so much more confidence back, and am re learning to stand up for myself and how to be me again! I’m more than a mom and I’m more than a wife, I am my own person.

Increasing my water has had so many other benefits throughout my journey so far. My goal is typically 150-170oz a day!

  • THE GAME HAS STARTED! OMG. I am so pumped and ready for this and I hope everyone else is too! I am going to kick things off by introducing myself for anyone here who doesn’t know me

My name is Felicia Keathley and I am a 25 year old stay at home mom of 2 boys! 3 years ago I started my weight loss journey at 302 pounds at my absolute rock bottom. I felt like I had tried SO many things to lose weight but would always end up quitting. I was at the point where I wanted to get weight loss surgery but my insurance needed proof of a failed weight loss program. So that’s why I joined WW (weight watchers) basically just expecting to fail. 3 years later here I am! Down 145 pounds naturally with WW and exercise

I truly believe I was put on this earth to share my story and help others not only lose weight but change their mindset to be able to keep the weight off. So like I say all the time, YES this is a weight loss challenge, I also want you to dig deep and focus on all the other aspects that come along with weight loss. NO MORE all or nothing mentality. NO MORE quitting after one night out. This is forever. And I am here to help.

Lets kick this off with the first of many giveaways! Comment below what your goals are for this game (you can share your scale goal if your comfortable) but I want to hear those NON SCALE GOALS. I will pick 3 winners to each win $50 PayPal cash!

Stay tuned for Set Up Sunday where we will set up for the week ahead! The game is starting on a Thursday so its kind of weird timing. But take these next few days to write down some meal ideas, snack ideas, etc. LOTS of which will be posted here. POST AWAY! We all want new ideas!

I will be in here everyday with a new post so make sure you’re checking back daily! I try my absolute best to like and/or comment on everyones posts. I am a mom of 2 SO you will probably hear from me more at night time or nap times lol!

If you need any technical help you can email support@waybetter. com

    WELCOME!

Late posting but I wanted to comment. My goal for this game is to get a handle on my sugar intake. That includes artificial sugar too.
