  • Someone in my last diet bet recommended the app “happy scale” for weight tracking. I really like it. It plots your daily data points (which can fluctuate immensely and leave your frustrated). It helps you to see trends and not place too much importance on one day!

So excited to say that this is my second Kickstarter diet bet and I am now ten pounds down and half way to my goal! This shit works! Haha. Just the little bit of accountability makes a massive difference

I’ve found it’s also helpful to pinpoint why you’re nibbling- boredom? Stress? Auto pilot? If you can name it in the future you’ll have better luck taming it even when you’re not in a diet bet

My first diet bet in a while... I recently started using Noom so I'm not following the meal plans posted on here as I'm following noom... but having some money on the line helps keep me motivated... I don't like to lose money....

Shelley V - I find it very helpful... little bits of info every day to keep me engaged, a coach if I have any questions, daily weighing, tasks that make me dig deeper for the real reasons behind my habits and weight... all about the psychology...

I like noom as well. I’m a therapist and they’re very good at teaching the CBT techniques that I use with my clients daily (Cognitive behavioral therapy - I just forget to apply them to myself!) It is a bit watered down, though. If you like it I suggest finding some good CBT workbooks to supplement.

  • Not a vegan but coach many who are! Great job! The vegan shakes from ID life are dynamo, have most of my clients them (I take use them also as I'm lactose intolerant) to help my vegans/vegetarians get in sufficient protein to increase metabolic rate.   • Day 1. Weigh in SUCKED!!! That number was a shocker..no wonder my pants don't fit. Lol

    However, stayed on point for diet AND my husband and I shared herbal tea instead of wine tonight. Not as satisfying but.. I'll feel good about it later.
