It’s a new day. Drink lots of tea or water. If you give in grab cucumber, pickles or celery. You can do it! If you have junk food in the house get get rid of it! You can do it!

Thanks everyone. It’s not even junk food I just will eat leftovers plus my veggies and protein. I think I need to eat more veggies for lunch so I don’t go home feeling like I need to eat the first think in site!

Anyone else find themselves self sabotaging when they get close to getting out of a certain weight bracket? For example, today I weighed 182.2 (so close to the 170's) I was focused for the most part and then today I bought a bag of individually wrapped mini dark chocolate and peanut butter cups and ate almost the whole 96g bag!!! Why?!
Perhaps it all or nothing thinking that I haven't quite overcome? Or maybe I'm actually afraid of success?? I'm not sure....

Can so relate! And yes...why did i do that...so frustrating, I keep repeating the mantra of "I can lose weight, I will lose weight" to myself when I feel like I am going to cave and reach for that one piece of chocolate because I know it will open the door to all the chocolate. Then I busy myself with something else...clean my closet, go for a walk, paint my nails, distract, distract, distract or if it is close to bed time, I go to bed. :wink: I also remind myself that I will not feel good after.

  • Struggling very much so with honing in my hunger! Breakfast goes great and then lunch is straight chaos. I’m already down 3.6lbs since starting but the biggest shock was when I stayed exact same weight from yesterday regardless of my very off plan meals!

    Every day I just try again. Here’s to another day of trying :) Happy Saturday everyone!

Down .4lbs this morning. The hardest part of my day is lunch time. I’m not hungry between breakfast and lunch but once I eat lunch it’s like I’m never full or satisfied. I feel like I could eat lunch and dinner all at once. Then when dinner comes that’s it, I’m not hungry for the rest of the day.

Any insight or suggestions would be highly appreciated :)

Thank you!!!! I’ve really been trying to figure this out for a while now. I’ve tried it all. Carbs at lunch, no carbs at lunch, higher protein, more fiber, have even tried swapping plate it dinner with lunch. I’ve had no luck figuring it out just yet.

  • Down 1.6lbs after one day on track! Day 1 for me is always the hardest with battling cravings but I know the drill. Stayed strong knowing there would be a drop next day!
