  • In the good news, I've lost 11.2lbs so far this month! Woot! Not a bad month 2 considering I already lost 27.4lbs in January.

In the bad news, I'm still 4lbs away from my goal. :-(

I may not win the bet.
But I'm psyched that I lost weight this month rather than gaining weight (which is what I did through all of 2020).

Would you share how you made it?

Jennifer S.

Natalie, I can try lol. I’m no chef, I just sort of guess, no idea what I’m doing. But I season the thawed salmon with spices, pop it in the fryer for about 7 minutes or so at 400. Take it out, remove skin, spice up the bottom, pop it back in upside down for another maybe 5 minutes or so, I’m not quite sure the exact time. :see_no_evil:

  • Today is my 23rd birthday, and woah the difference a year can make! For anyone feeling like their progress is slow moving just remember that little changes makes a big difference in a year. I don’t eat amazing everyday, I treat myself sometimes maybe more often than I should but if the effort is their the change will come. Not exactly where I wanna be but very excited to see where another year takes me!

I’m feeling frustrated too but am trying to focus on even if I don’t win at least I’ll be down some pounds. But I’d still like to win!!

Jules

Crystal it’s disappointing for sure! Sorry it’s a slow loss this time. I think however you could possibly still make it. Strict low carb or even keto if you can manage it, cut out sweetners as well, lots of water and get daily sweat! HIIT work outs are best for calorie burn and done in 30 mins. Give it a try! I’ve lost 5lbs in a week before! When my weight was in the 200+lbs. Good luck!

So I finished MBF today and I’m down 5 inches overall and of the 10 pounds I’ve lost so far, 6 of them were from MBF and counting my macros!!

Feeling alittle discouraged and disappointed. I started off strong! Now we have 12 days and I still have about 6 lbs to lose. I'm trying really hard not to eat everything in sight cause my husband and kids are home (snow storm) and its shark week. 😭 praying i can do it!

Just look at 2 weeks to stay strong and knock it out of the park. dont stress about the weight and just stick to a plan. Stress on the body is the unhealthy thing give yourself encouragement and look at the journey as a good thing not a chore. Plan your meals and this is a great time to learn to tell others no. No i dont want to go out, no i dont want you to pick me up anything. No i dont want to go to my mother in laws (this one might be mine) Just say no and stay strong. Good luck!

Laura D.

You CAN do this!!!

I need to work on 2 and 3.

This has ALWAYS been a struggle of mine! I'm slowly learning to not let food control me, and to stop eating before my stomach hurts

  • Quick and Easy Crustless Keto Pizza

This is one of my "I'm all out of effs and quickly losing the will to live" recipes, because it's easier than putting on shoes and going out to grab fast food and faster than asking Doordash to bring me fast food.

This isn't the BEST keto pizza.
There are tons of better recipes with fathead dough crusts, chicken crust, or even low carb tortilla crusts.

But when you're tired, don't want to cook, and really just want pizza; this will hit the spot.

    1) Grab the rack from your toaster oven, cover with parchment paper, spread a few tablespoons of Rao's marinara on the paper.

    2) Top the marinara with 2-3 cups of mozzarella and 1/4 cup of parmesan.

    3) Season: I used garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and basil. If you have them and like a little spice, red pepper flakes would be a great addition.

    4) Toppings: feel free to get fancy with it. Tonight I wasn't up for fancy so I just slapped on pepperoni and called it good.

    5) Pop it in the oven at 425° F.

    6) I set the timer for 15 minutes just so I don't burn the house down if I get distracted. It's actually done much sooner.

    7) You want the edges to burn a little and the middle to have a chance to bubble. About 7-9 minutes in the oven should do it.

    8) I slide the parchment paper right onto a cutting board and eat with a fork.

@Travis, it makes 1 serving for me. But it's also the majority of what I'm going to eat in a day.

Laura D.

That looks amazing!!!
