Just an FYI for all the new people that enjoyed your experience, this drama is not normal. These bets are normally positive and motivating. I've been doing them for almost 2 years and have never seen this type of behavior. Yes, Diet Bet gets a large amount from the pots. I personally think it's too much. However, this information is known before you play a game. If someone has an issue with Diet Bets company structure don't play. I do these bets for accountability, I'm too cheap to lose my money and it keeps me on track.

Totally agree with everything you said. I don’t understand what’s going on the last couple of days. With Felicia‘s kickstarter weight loss challenge and the transformer challenge the negativity this come out with a group of people it’s just crazy to me. Before you join something read the rules and understand what you’re joining and what the expectations are.I am thrilled that so many people have done well in these challenges just shows that the host of each of the challenges done a great job. I have a significant amount of weight to lose especially due to health issues and this helps me stay focus and have some fun at the sametime.

I think I’m glad I haven’t checked for a few days. I knew I wasn’t hitting goal. I really want to do another but I’m finding a good host first. I loved Felicia’s involvement and would like someone similar. I don’t care about prizes along the way as much as my end goal.

If you have to be gluten free it works as well!! I’ve used KA measure for measure and a tad more yogurt. I say tad because I go by the recipe then add a little more to get the right texture.

    Let’s talk comparison. I know it’s something a lot of us struggle with, especially in the weight loss community.

    “Susan lost 5 lbs this week and I only lost .5”

    And you get discouraged and wanna quit. Or you want to be more extreme with your methods. Remember every single person is different. Comparing your weight loss progress to someone else’s is completely unrealistic and is going to do nothing but discourage you.

    We all go at different places. We all have different bodies. We all workout differently, eat differently, etc etc etc. You CANT compare yourself. Focus on you, how far you’ve come and be proud instead of constantly putting yourself down.

  • HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!! Starting off week 3 and I want to know what your going to do this week to push yourself!!!

    Whether that means an extra 10 minutes on your workout/walk, hitting a water goal each day, sticking to your meal plan, etc. What are you going to do this week to show yourself how capable you really are? STOP making excuses , STOP looking back and look FOWARD. If you’ve been struggling the first half of this DietBet, that doesn’t mean your down and out. How much progress can you make physically and mentally in the next few weeks? Not ONLY striving for that 4% goal, but striving for a better you. A you that is READY to make 2021 the year you don’t give up on yourself.

I have 2 goals... my physical goal is to make a commitment 30 minutes of exercise 5x a week. My job is stationary and this is very important to me. My second goal is mental. I am trying to train myself to not focus on dates and timelines. Getting healthy isn’t a race. If it takes you 3 months or years, I need to make sure I don’t give up because all of those times I have up I would have crossed the finish line by now. It’s about a lifestyle change- not a race to fit in an outfit by a certain date.

    Get those plans ready for our 3rd week! Set yourself up for success! Here’s an idea of something I have on my menu this week:

    Copycat McGriddles: Use protein pancake mix (I like Kodiak cake) and make 2 small pancakes. Layer scrambled egg, turkey sausage / or bacon, slice of velveeta cheese and a drizzle of sugar free syrup. SO YUMMY. Try it out!

    Can’t wait to see and hear all these yummy ideas! Happy Sunday everyone, let’s kill this week 👏????💗 Stay tuned for another air pod giveaway tomorrow!

Just want to say to anyone who gets sick during this, stay strong! I was just diagnosed with covid so for me heavy exercise is out. I’m just tracking my bites but not beating myself up for a little extra calories.

  • Remember that while yes, the goal of this game is about losing that 4%.... I want you to have other goals as well. Goals that don’t involve the number. Goals that make you feel PROUD, confident, strong. Things that are going to set you up for long term success

    If you’re thinking this is a 4 week challenge and then it’s “over” you have the wrong mindset. This journey is never over. Built new habits that can help you sustain this weight forever. Have a treat here and there to build that healthy relationship and balance with food. Do we wanna lose the weight or lose the weight AND keep it off.

Found out yesterday one of my flatmates tested positive for coronavirus, and I now need to self-isolate.

I think since March last year it has been really easy to look to food when I feel bad or upset, and I gained a lot of weight. But this dietbet has given me the motivation I need to be more in control. I really felt like ordering pizza and drinking a bottle of wine, instead I cooked a healthy meal, and ordered food shopping online for the next couple weeks! Lots of meat, fish and veggies!

It is only one small act, but I feel really happy I was able to do it!

I’m with you! My husband tested positive and I just tested today. I got some convenience things that aren’t terrible so if I get worse I can stay somewhat on track.
