If you have an iPhone, I'd recommend Apple Watch. I used versa2 for years and love it as well. I switched to Apple Watch a few months ago. The ability to ping phone from watch is a big helper for me, as I'm constantly misplacing my phone. I like the apple fitness tracking and have more friends with apple watches, making it more motivating and fun to compete with them.

The versa2 is also a great choice. One of the best pros is not having to charge every day.

Both are waterproof and will track any kind of exercise you want. Versa 2 daily goal is step based though. Apple has 3 rings/goals to hit: move(active calories burned), exercise, and stand.

I just bought my 2nd Fitbit
For the price of Apple the Fitbit does pretty much the same fir much less cost. Why spend the extra for the same? I have the charge hr 4 too not the versa but still think about the apple and talk myself out of it due to the cost.

  • Week #3 Activity Challenge
    Let’s put some pep in our steps! In addition to staying diligent with your eating goals, this week I challenge you to increase your activity! If you’re sedentary, pick a couple nights this week to go for a walk after dinner or take a beginner workout class on YouTube, if you’re very active find a way to really push yourself! Maybe turn it up a notch by adding something new you don’t normally do!

    Track your activities and report back next Sunday! This challenge will run from 1/25-1/30. I will post the thread that you check-in on Sunday 1/31 and the winner will be announced 2/1.

    For my sedentary friends, aim for 2 to 3 days of activity.

    For my active friends aim for 5 or 6!

Wore my Fitbit today and got 2.5mi of steps in spending literally the entire day cleaning. Way above & beyond my normal step count (& amount of cleaning I do).

PS..the potential of winning a spiralizer is definitely motivation. LOL !! I think tomorrow I’ll start my workout DVD’s that I haven’t done in 9months.

I had veggies with every meal. Spinach and kale in my protein smoothie in the AM, a salad for lunch, and a rainbow of veggies with dinner every day. I love veggies!

I did horrible on this one! But that’s ok, my daughter was married this weekend and with all the craziness, I only gained 0.4lbs! This week I will work on veggies AND activity!

I went for a walk on the beach and had juiced veggies with Kale salad for lunch when I got home!!!! (I didn’t buy takeout on the way home)

Does anyone else here GAIN a couple pounds because of hormonal fluctuations or water retention before their periods? Ugh! I'm doing all the right things, hydrating but even though I know it will pass it's so discouraging! :(

Eating differently than my son and husband. They have stuffed crust pizza some nights and I LOVE stuffed crust pizza! Thank God for my daughter who will eat high veggie content meals with me.

I actually didn’t find anything challenging about the veggie challenge. I made a salad every day for lunch and I’ve always had veggies with my dinner. I’m lucky because I work from home so I can actually make a salad at lunchtime instead of having to make it in the morning to take to work. That would be much more of a challenge. :blush:
