GOODMORNING and happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend!

Today I want to talk about NON food related “rewards”. During my weight loss when I set goals, I wanted to have something to look forward to. When I hit 100 lbs lost I got my hair done! I want to make some updates to my bedroom, so for every 10 pounds I lose I am making an update. Starting out small like organizing baskets, and lamps, curtains, and moving up to bedside table, rug, painting the walls.

  • Remember that while yes, the goal of this game is about losing that 4%.... I want you to have other goals as well. Goals that don’t involve the number. Goals that make you feel PROUD, confident, strong. Things that are going to set you up for long term success

    If you’re thinking this is a 4 week challenge and then it’s “over” you have the wrong mindset. This journey is never over. Built new habits that can help you sustain this weight forever. Have a treat here and there to build that healthy relationship and balance with food. Do we wanna lose the weight or lose the weight AND keep it off.

Hey everybody I’m not sure if I am mentally prepared for this anymore. My puppy died today after I rushed him to the animal hospital. My heart is completely broken and I need time to heal.

I’ve decided to continue the program. The fact that losing my furbaby through a bad death and my husband leaving for 6 months is getting to me mentally on top of raising two toddlers.

  • This DietBet is not about losing the 4% if I do that’s great, if I don’t thats still great!

    It’s learning that one meal will not derail my progress. It’s learning to enjoy and not overeat because I think I need to eat all I can and start back the next day!

    As Felicia says: if one tire is flat you don’t pop the other three you fix it and keep going! ❤❤❤

Omg yesss I had Olive Garden for dinner yesterday and stopped when I was satisfied and Ben threw some out. Before so would of felt like I had to eat it all to not waste and been miserable after. I want to win my money let’s be honest lol but it’s about so much more than that. I love how Felicia teaches balance between real world and not just baked chicken and steamed vegetables everyone tells you that you have to eat!

  • I know the weekends can be tough for some, but remember to keep your goal and your why in mind! What will make you feel GOOD this weekend? What won’t. Don’t let the weekend be an excuse to eat whatever you want, as much as you want, and not move your body

    My challenge to you today is to eat meals that make you feel good, and get some form of exercise in, even if that’s a small short walk! And WATER!

    I’m going to make today a water challenge. Pick a goal and shoot for that goal! Recommended amount is 1/2 your bodyweight in ounces (so for example if you’re 200 lbs, your goal would be 100 oz)
