Non-scale victory of the week!

I am taking the time to have cut up vegetables in baggies in the fridge to grab when I need a snack. I’ve been getting on my exercise bike every day, even if only for 10 minutes. I’m trying to drink more water, which is hard at work, but I’m taking a water bottle with me wherever I go. I’m feeling good!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I had a cinnamon roll with my kids this week. I wish I would’ve had better will power & not eaten it.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

This week I want to get started back on my treadmill. I’m going to work on increasing my water intake & getting to sleep earlier. I’m going to continue to have healthy snacks when I come home from work at 930pm and try to resist the urge to grab some chips or sweet when I get home. When I’m tired, I have to have extra willpower to make good choices & not blow all of my hard work.

Long-term goal weight

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

Will power. I’m a single mom of 2 boys, one on the Autism spectrum, and we are all doing virtual learning from home. It is definitely more challenging & fatigue is an issue. Unfortunately my visits to the fridge and snack cupboard is way too convenient. The boys & I also make desserts & snacks as a fun activity together. I haven’t weighed this much since I was pregnant with my 1st. I’ve been wearing stretchy pants & I was mortified when I couldn’t pull me jeans up over my thighs last week. I am feeling shame & I’m really mad at myself for not keeping this in check. I want to get healthy & active again. Going back to school at 50 has been extra stressful too. I need to be conscious of what I eat & exercise more. Right now I don’t even want to get together with friends if I could as I’m so uncomfortable in my own skin. I am excited to start this at take control back over my body & my emotions! shen I do get to see friends in 2021, I want to show up as my best self & full of positive energy! Let’s go!

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I want to ride my exercise bike for 4 miles minimum 6 days this week. I really want to focus on keeping track of drinking water & get to bed at a decent time. I want to have a good clean diet. If I do have a treat, I want to get myself to taste it or have just a few bites, not a whole row of bars out of the pan. It’s go time!
