  • Meal pre! A go-to of mine spruced up a bit for gut health: spaghetti squash, ground beef (I know, red meat, but doc says I need it), pumpkin seeds, and my new addition: kimchi.

Looks so good! ♡ meal preping is so eye pleasing! And is it just me, or are preped meals more satisfying?

Lisa

Don't feel bad for eating red meat! People need to stop shaming and judging other people. You shouldn't have to justify your choices to anyone!

How does do you eat kimchi? I just tried it this morning and could barely stomach it.

It's not for me either and I'm ok with that. Find what you like and stick with that. Not everyone needs to like everything.

Siriporn(Nikky) A.

I tried it for the first time and had a little with brown rice and my other stir fry veggies. Also, I got a brand one that was mild. I do however agree with Lisa, it is an acquired taste and may not be for everyone.

I am a little late joining! I am on my second round of 9WCF! Absolutely love this program and I am so much stronger.
The last diet bet I struggled with not following a nutrition program and didn’t win. I have lost 15lbs since I started a year and half ago but I have plateaued at between 133-137lbs. I keep fluctuating. I am determined to lose the remaining 10-15lbs that is hanging on. I am ready for the challenge. Grateful for Autumn and Bobby doing this DietBet and all the members for being so motivating! 😄💪❤

How do you ladies track what you eat? Would we want to create a group with either bb or Facebook messenger to help us stay accountable for the next 3 weeks?

Gina P.

I actually haven’t been tracking that well. I have used the fix containers and the app.
But I actually find that My Fitness Pal works great. I know I need to improve on my tracking!! How do you track?

I'm all about no dishes!! Looks :yum:!

Kim S.

@jacqueline its just Mayo (or a plant based Mayo or olive oil for this challenge) and Furikake rice seasoning. Bake at 350 F for about 20-25 minutes depending on how thick the piece of salmon is.
Cucumber Kim chee: I use Japanese cucumber or the mini cukes. Cut them up and sprinkle rock salt and let sit for abt 30mins, rinse and then I add Kim chee base to taste. That’s it!

I am curious if sparkling water is allowed. As long as it has no sugar, carbs and sodium

Watch for those artificial sweeteners, they sneak those in there sometimes.

Lisa

The flavored sparking waters taste nasty to me - very fake and i don't trust what they add for flavorings. I add things like cucumber, berries, citrus, or melon to plain sparkling water. Tastes SO much better and I know what I'm ingesting. Mash them up a little for full flavor!

Hi everyone! I’m new to this and a little confused! How often do we weigh in? I’ve only joined and did an initial weigh in yesterday, now on here it says to do a progress weigh in by midnight tomorrow (Wednesday). Is that right? Do we weigh in every 2 days?
P.s. hope everyone’s getting on well! :)

If you joined the DietBet membership then you can do weekly weigh-ins and there are prize drawings.

Lisa

If you paid $35 you just paid for the game and don't need to do the progress weigh ins. You can just submit unofficially if you want or wait until the game ends. If you paid $40 then you also paid for the DietBet membership and can win prizes for the other weigh ins. Still optional but if you paid the extra $5 you might as well try and win some prizes.

Hi all. So after a one month hiatus I'm back. I lost 22 lbs. from Jan 1 - Mar 31 doing (and winning!) five different DietBet challenges. I took off April to allow my body to stabilize and ended up gaining 4 lbs back. Ugh. Come on May -- Swimsuit season is almost here!! Good luck everyone! 😍

I did same thing. January was killer!!! The following months not so much. It is time!

I'm not going to be able to participate in this game, and I'm trying to find how to request a refund and I'm not seeing it. Can someone direct me to the right spot?

How do we collect our winnings ?

Brenda K.

Your not going to hit the lottery. $50 is a good payout. I participate to keep me motivated. I celebrate when I hit my goal being 4% lighter on the scale & getting my investment back! I let my payouts accumulate to my account & am able to pay for my next bet + have balance of like $150.

Only $10, probably not big winnings but good for some accountability. They gave them on a regular basis.
