I made it this round. Barely. This is the time when I typically stop trying and gain a few pounds or everything I lost back. It gets harder and it seems what I was doing to lose just isn't cutting it anymore. So, I get frustrated and stop trying. I am really trying to not give in to this mindset. We can do this!!

In the same boat! I barely made it and can feel myself losing my drive. I’m going to keep at it- small choices every day, don’t go to bed without 10,000 steps. No snacking.

Theresa, this is me now. I made it below starting weight last week, but back up again from poor eating choices over the weekend. Getting back into the better path this week. It's super frustrating, but I know there is a way.

Didn’t make my weight this month, but I did lots of weight training, so I think I gained a lot of muscle. I haven’t submitted yet, but does anyone know if you fail a round but paid for the entire DietBet (not monthly), do you still lose out on money even if you make the final weigh in?

Yes, but you have to weigh in on round 5 and lost at least 6% to qualify for round 6.

CrunchyFrog

No guarantees, but I checked and all the Transformers I've done before have paid out enough in the final round to at least break even if you paid up front and only won the last round.

Has anyone gotten their payout yet? Mine hasn’t posted.

My email said $21.91 for round 1 winnings? Sorry, but the math doesn't jive. Even taking 25% out of payout equals more that that if EVERYONE met their first round goals. Somethings not right here!

Stacy F.

Heather, only half of each round's cost, so $17.50, goes towards the current round. The other $17.50 goes toward round 6. So round 6 is the big payout. The round payouts tend to go up as the game goes on. If everyone won round 1, with the 25% taken out, then the payout would have been $13 (except not, because they guarantee you'll get the $17.50 you put in).

DAILY VS WEEKLY WEIGH-INS
Good morning! My weight over the weekend was below this month's goal, and then this morning it is 0.7 lbs over. I was quite active and am guessing I'm retaining a little water? Today will be a day of no salt and lots of water. And I just chopped up some cabbage, carrots, onion, garlic, celery, and tossed in a pot with a can of diced tomatoes and water. Going to fiber these 0.7 lbs away! Lol.

I'm glad I weigh myself daily, because I can tell the trend, and recognize when something is probably just water (like today). But I know some people say weighing in daily is too compulsive and weekly is more healthy. How often do you all weigh yourselves?

Daily for a lot of the reasons mentioned. A holistic doc told me a long time ago that if I would weigh in every day, my body would tell me what foods it really doesn't like.

I'm a daily weigher as well. I too like to see what "works" for my body and what does jit

Finally did my weigh in today and turns out I gained everything I lost in the last transformer and then some. Winter depression definitely not working in my favor. Ready to get over this hump.
