  • Week 2 Well-Balanced Challenge
    Hooray! You made it through the first week of our challenge! So many of you did such an amazing job completing last week’s movement challenge! Not only did most of you hit your goal of moving for at least 45 minutes every day, but most of you exceeded it! Way to go!

    This week (3/8-3/13) I challenge you to be super intentional about what you are eating. I challenge you to incorporate (and track) at least ONE nutrient dense, well-balanced meal every day this week Mon.-Sat.! That is a minimum of 6 meals total! Like I have mentioned previously I track my meals by hand in my planner, but you can use any tracking app, a note in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

    Submit your tracking by the end of the day on 3/14 to a check-in thread that I will post on 3/13 to the group & the winner will be announced on Mon. 3/15 This week’s winner will receive a Amazon Echo Dot! I know many of you have full schedules between work, family, and commitments but I want you to see that preparing one healthy meal a day at home doesn’t take much of your time and that you don’t have to dread the kitchen! Let’s befriend it. You’ve got this!!!

  • Week 1 Exercise Challenge
    I first want to extend a warm welcome to all our new and returning members! I am so excited to have you here with us this March! Throughout the game I will be hosting fun (free, you do not have to pay the $5 membership fee to participate) weekly challenges where you will have an opportunity to win some awesome prizes!

    This week 3/1-3/6 I challenge you to incorporate (and track) at least 45 minutes of exercise every day this week Mon.-Sat.! I have tracked my movement/exercise throughout my journey by hand in my planner, but you can use any tracking app, a note in your phone, whatever method you feel will work best for you!

    Submit your tracking results by the end of the day on 3/7 to a check-in thread that I will post the morning of 3/7 to the group (It will be pinned at the top of the posts titled week 1 check-in). Then one winner will be chosen at random to win my favorite high-density round foam roller. Perfect to use for a variety of strengthening, flexibility, and balancing exercises! The winner will be announced on Mon. 3/8.!

    Remember 45 minutes of activity could be a walking the dog, a virtual yoga class, vacuuming the house, anything that gets you moving! You’ve got this!!! Let’s start this game off by focusing on getting our bodies moving this week.

Hey guys! Firstly I would like to thank everyone for all the inspiration you are giving me with your posts!
Question: do you think 3 kickstarters in a row is something feasible? I have no idea if I will make goal for this one, but if I don’t, it is going to be very close, so considering it done! I don’t know if I will be able to keep up this high pace of loosing...
Has anyone be successful with 3 kickstarters back to back?
Another option would be to leave two weeks in between, to up my calories and then go at it again! What do you think?
Oh! And by the way, if you have any suggestions for a cool Kickstarter, shout it out! ❤

Thank you all for your comments! Based on everyone’s recommendations, I will join Elise’s Kickstarter too. It will be my third in a row. I figure I should just keep doing kick starter‘s until I absolutely can’t win anymore or hit my ultimate target weight.

I’m going for my third as well, likely Elise’s. Planning to do 8 back to back as trying to lose 8-10 lbs a month and I’ve got 80 lbs to lose!
