Trying to meal prep at the start of the week and using My Fitness Pal to track calories/macros have really helped me!

Got a water bottle that helps keep track of how much water I drink.
I am a lot more likely to keep to a workout schedule if I follow a sleep schedule and get up early and exercise first thing of the day.
Making sure to each more water-rich foods with every meal to feel more full.

  • For many people, meal prepping is the key to success when it comes to their diet. If you can stay on track with your daily meals and snacks then your weight loss goals become that much more attainable.
    Keep Healthy Easy To Prepare Snacks Around! Keeping healthy food nearby can help prevent you from eating something unhealthy if you become excessively hungry. Having them ready to go ahead of time is an added benefit. Instead of reaching for that cookie, you could get out those eggs that are already peeled and boiled.

My win for today is small - back on track.

But I feel the need to post to keep myself accountable. I failed the challenge Mon-Wed as I got caught up in work every day, forgot to drink water, didn't take exercise breaks and by the time my work day was done, I was too tired to do anything. But I am not going to let this bet beat me!

So I am back at it today. I have already exercised 2 x 10 min dance sessions in my living room and my 3rd tall glass of water. And I have a 40-min walk scheduled for later this evening which I won't be skipping out on since I have to go to the office anyways.

One of the best things I've done is to find an hour long show on Hulu or Netflix and only watch that when I'm either on the treadmill or just going up and down on my little stepper block. I get so into it and it makes me want to get back on just so I can watch another episode. I have found myself on it close to 2 hrs some days.

    ** Starting on Friday there will be a post asking if you completed the challenge, that is where you will comment if you completed it. You will have until Saturday at 12 PM (noon) PST to report in. Everyone who completes this challenge and reports in will get their name in the drawing for a $20 Amazon gift card!

    This is not required, but at least once during the week, post about what you did for a workout. It will help give the rest of us some good ideas, encouragement, and motivation!

    Do you already have a habit of drinking plenty of water every day, or is it a struggle for you to get it in? Just like anything else, the more you do something, the easier it becomes to then incorporate it into your everyday life. This process is about building good habits, that not only lasts us through the game but through the rest of our lives. How did everyone's first day go? What's your plan for day 2?
