Hi all! This will be me second diebet in a row..but a tad bit confused. I didn't submit a weight in this time and it says "verifying weight in" does that mean its taking my last weight from my previous dietbet?

  • Congratulations to everyone who won! Congratulations to everyone who may not have won, but made the commitment to get healthy. I am proud of you!

    I missed weigh in this morning by 8 oz, but, no matter what I am proud of myself. I have lost 5 lbs on this Dietbet and have gotten to my lowest weight yet of 134.4lbs.

    I also haven't given up just yet. My meals and water intake has been on point today. I just got done doing Cardio Flow to try and sweat out those damn 8 oz. and I am contemplating doing AAA to close out week 7 of 80 Day Obsession. Overall all positives.

This has been my all time lowest in a I kid you not, over 8 years...i could cry! I was always big throughout my entire life...in grade 9 i recall stepping on the scale in gym class and seeing 150lb.. now i am close to it and I'm going to keep going to reach that goal! Happy tears . Seeing you all talk about your REAL struggle. Your food. Your motivation..it all has uplifted me..never have i felt such apart of an amazing community. Thank you for those words of encouragement for those food photos for those real conversation!

Congrats girl!!! I’m also very close to my high school gym weight too, funny because I clearly remember stepping on the scale and seeing 136 and being pretty mortified. But since finishing high school I have been such a yo-yo dieter playing with the same 40lbs :/. Hoping to keep it off for good this go around. Good luck to you! You can do it :)

OK apart from lots of water, any recommendations for combating extreme bloat? No idea what's caused it as i haven't eaten anything unusal. The scales have stuck at 2lb above goal. I'm determined to move them by Monday!

As a general med doctor pls dnt use diuretics if you don't need to. That increases the pressure on your perfectly healthy kidney and depletes sodium along with your water and drops your blood pressure. Be careful with those..only use it if prescribed. Keep drinking your water..very normal to bloat throughout the day but if necessary...aloe vera juice is amazing ..not tasty whatsoever ever. A shot of it in the morning on an empty stomach will help relieve bloat so well

I am a registered nurse and can’t really recommend diuretics for Someone healthy. Limit your salt intake and go for a long walk to move everything along with some water!

    I really think a tracking bottle helps me to monitor and motivates me to drink more.

I just finished an amazing 2 week shred that was for free on youtube and reached my goal weight for the game (still need to lose more kgs for my own goal). My weight was not bulging before the challenge but I lost a lot while doing it. I also feel and look so much stronger.

Im taking tomorrow as a rest day but will start another challenge the day after. Researching and tweaking a great one right now.

Maybe ill make it 10 days so it finishes with the DietBet ?! Who wants to do it with me ?

  • Weight loss weekend! So glad I made V day about spending time with family and not food. I was nervous doing two diet bets in a row, but looks like I'll make it. Started at 178.2 in January, goal is 155!

Omg Marie that's so funny! Demi, I've had one cheat meal that I shared since January first. I've also only drunken a few times. I think I was carrying a lot of water and salt bc the first seven pounds came off in a couple weeks. I'm sure it'll slow down very soon!
