  • A year ago today I lost my only baby girl in the second trimester. After that, I didn’t care about what I ate and gained all the weight I am trying to lose in this game. I am working really hard to get healthy again, but tonight I am eating a small piece of cake for my sweet daughter, and a glass of wine for me.

I’ve been drinking half my body weight in ounces and it’s been paying off. I do not miss how bloated I was and didn’t even know it. My water intake has flushed my system, giving me a boost in my weight loss. I’ve also continued my exercise routine from before this challenge started, but it’s so much easier to do it now. Also, not a single migraine this week 🙌. Find yourself I great water bottle and hydrate! I use a Nalgene bottle and love it. I only need to refill 3 times a day which is perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner.

  • I am 3 days postpartum! 😅 But hoping to take baby steps (no pun intended) this year. Watch the snacking for the first month, improve meals/nutrition month 2, and hopefully I'll be able to start working out month 3! Although this is baby 3, it was my first c-section, so I'm feeling a little less sure what to expect.

Good luck Momma! You can do this. Focus on eating right and listen to your body on the activity/exercise.
