In the event I miss a meal, either waking up later..work or errands..do you suggest making it up by eating more the next meal? I have this hang up when it happens and then end up in decision paralysis. Here’s a more specific example: you miss lunch but get out of work at 4pm, do you eat more at dinner? Or just eat the same amount. I know we shouldn’t skip and eating should be a priority but life happens. As a mom of 3, nursing student and I work in a hospital I try to plan as much as possible but sometimes my plans are out of my hands. Or like today..I was stuck in class so I ate grilled tenders I packed and an apple but never got to my salad bc I was driving. Hope this makes sense! I’ve been doing your diet bets for a year and this always ends up tripping me up. Thanks!!

Good morning, I just watched the zoom recording from Thursday.

I’m taking Ilanas advice to find a partner. I’d love to find a buddy to go through this together. A little bit about me I’m a military spouse, we recently moved to Texas, I’m 31, have a daughter and work full time. I’m looking to lose 30 pounds, I usually do really great on a plan for the first couple of weeks and then I struggle/ self sabotage. If you would be interested in being my buddy I’d love to connect with you.

Holiday break did a number on me. When I go off the rails from 2B my gut is a mess then go figure when I get back on it, it is also a mess. This week was a rollercoaster with the scale. Happy to see that at the one week mark though I’m down 3.6. The journey looks so different for each of us, and weight can be stubborn each time you fall off and try to get back on. However Ilanas principles are everything! Track track track…water all day long..veggies..and there will be results. For so long I kept fixating on the daily loss not the weekly loss which in turn would contribute to my eating decisions for that day would lead me to emotional eat if the scale didn’t say what I thought. I’m learning daily what works.This week I was relentless in the pursuit of progress! We can do this yall! Keep going!!!

This was so helpful! I was getting frustrated seeing the scale go up and down slightly this week but overall I also had a loss for week one and that should out weigh the frustration. Thank you for sharing.

I’m following 2b mindset program. I followed it in the past and it worked VERY WELL so I’m going to start it again since I fell off the wagon for some time. What is everyone’s favorite 2b mindset breakfast for on the go :)

I love to make the peanut butter breakfast pie except put them into four jars for easy grab and go. I also do this with the pb&j bowl and make them in advance for the week.

Happy New Year All You Rockstars!!


I want you to feel so good and proud of yourselves for being here today. Pledging to this goal is so important. We need to be in peak physical shape as a means of protecting and optimizing our physical and mental health and wellbeing. Just know that this bet is a win win! There are 2 outcomes that are both fantastic. Either you invested $35 to refocus your energy off of politics and drama and more into a positive routine and community of supportive people. And lose some weight and learn better habits, insights and recipes through the process.
2. You lose 4% or more of your weight in a way that feels energetic, focused, positive and fun and make some extra money in the process. Either way you are a winner and proved that to yourself the second you signed up. Let’s make this fun, inspirational, and uplifting for one another. Let’s cheer each other on more than normal. Let’s post more and like each other's posts more than ever before. Let’s not hold back our inner kindness and cheerleader. The more positive we speak to each other, the better practice we have speaking kinder to ourselves. The less judgemental we are of others, the less judgemental we are to ourselves.
