We're now in the final round! Keep yourself accountable by weighing in unofficially or by submitting progress weigh-ins through Membership. To reward players for consistency each Wednesday we’ll randomly reward an exciting progress prize to one or more players who submitted a Progress weigh-in during the 7 days leading up to the drawing. I’m waiting for mine to be approved. What happens if it’s not approved by tonight and then I can’t move on???? Typically the approval part takes minutes and it’s been a bit with no responses

  • Today marks 50 pounds lost since July, when I was at my highest weight ever. I really kicked it up a notch in January when I joined this dietbet.
    To celebrate I bought a rocking lawn chair that has a 300lb weight limit... I don't have to worry about that now <3 <3 and that feels amazing<3 <3

Just weighed in. I still have 5.8 lbs left for this month. Yikes! I think I’m basically at the same weight I was at the beginning of this month. This week I did finally make some changes. I stopped having a nighttime coffee and sweet, so I’ve slept better too, I think. Also started a StepBet and have been walking a lot. And continuing to do my core work. I’m getting a little nervous, but assuming my weight is just up due to hormones, so a couple pounds come off from that in the next week or so, and I continue doing what I’m doing, I’ve got to at least try to get there!

I’m struggling over here through a plateau I’ve been on for a few weeks. Can’t seem to shake it. :(

I was on a plateau for more than 6 weeks. Once I accepted that and not force it, focused on my movement throughout the day and drinking water and tea, things finally started to shift. It will happen. The body is so complex and it is so important to give yourself grace!! It’s worth it in the long-run!!

Hit a wall. Haven’t budged for two weeks. I already work out two hours a day and stay under 1200 net calories. First ten pounds came off quick but now I’m just sitting with no progress. What happened?! :(

The body is a mysterious thing. This sort of thing happens and is hard to understand. Unfortunately our bodies didn't come with a user manual to explain it all to us. Yes, carbs absorb water, but... 2 weeks? Eventually the laws of thermodynamics will prevail, so just hang in there. Unless you're the anomaly, in which case I'm sorry. ;^)


I agree with the “shock your body concept.” One thing that I like to do is a time controlled feeding (sometimes called intermittent fasting). Basically, I eat dinner as early as i can. The next morning I continue to fast (I’ll drink black coffee, but other than that, just water.) then I continue to fast ask king as I can. It depends on the day, but anywhere from 1-5ish. I eat a high protein, high healthy fat, and low carb lunch/dinner and then don’t eat again till the next morning. It really isn’t as bad as it sounds

I think it’s required to do the official weigh in at round 5 and 6 but this is my first go as well.

The “official weigh ins/outs” at the end of each month are to check eligibility for your split of the pot for that particular round. You’re encouraged to weigh in at the end of each round even if you don’t meet your goal (probably easier to catch cheaters). You are *required* to weigh in at the end of Round 5 (end of June I think, don’t quote me) because they have to verify that you’ve lost at least 6% from your original weight (no dangerous dashes to the finish line allowed!!)

Either way, you’re still eligible for Round 2!! Just be sure to officially weigh-in when it ends (I.e. April 1-2) :thumbsup:
