    I’m officially down 20.2lbs! (I did this in 55 days!!)
    I put on a pair of size 10 jeans and could actually button them!
    I was complimented by someone I haven’t seen in years that I looked good.

It's great you are doing this together! My hubs isn't likely to make weight this month, so while I was busy slowly eating my meals to stretch out the eating experience, he was stuffing his face with girl scout cookies. It. Was. Torture! Lol

Oh what a turd! I do cheat in front of my husband so mean I now but He can’t usually I’m the one struggling he’s kicking ass. This go it’s opposite I’m losing he’s struggling

Didn’t make goal. Three kickstarters in a row is too much I guess. Still feeling pretty happy about my progress this year so far!
Time to relax for a few days and give my body some time to stabilise before jumping into the next one!

I’m not going to make my goal weight this round, I have totally plateaued and don’t know how to get things moving again. So frustrating! I workout daily and eat well, I also drink 80oz of water per day so I have no idea what to try next. Any advice would be greatly received. Thanks!

Improve. For my workouts I’ve been doing various Beachbody programs but I have just started a BOD group for MBF starting on Saturday (third time doing this program) so I’m looking forward to that.


Honestly it has always been hard for me to figure out what works because my work schedules and just my day to day is hectic. I found that intermittent fasting kick starts everything. I didn’t think I could do it because of my job and the demands of everything however I have it a shot and I started with a 16/8 fast. Basically you’re just skipping one meal a day. I chose breakfast and I was able to eat from 12pm to 8pm daily. From there I tried to choose healthier options for what I was eating. Although I didn’t always eat healthy, the intermittent fasting gave me a little kickstart and I felt more energized, and overall felt better.

I started adding in a calorie count at the beginning of this year because while I was losing it wasn’t fast and I was feeling better but still not realizing how many calories I was actually taking in during those 8 hours... since January 4th I have lost 23.6 lbs doing intermittent fasting and calorie counting. I take a week break here in there and allow myself Grace when I don’t stay in budget. I just start over the next day. The big thing I learned is I have to keep changing it up because my body adjusts quickly to routines and then I plateau.

Yikes. I haven’t been eating so well since the end of the last round. I need to find that motivation again to not give in to eating whatever! What do you guys tell yourselves to give you that boost??

I’ve had the same problem! Today is the first day of being good all day. I was telling my friend about it and she suggested having a legit non scale victory that isn’t just about looking better to work for too... so my NSV will be able to do 1 pull up in 1 (maybe 2) months, and it actually helped! I actually went to the gym and did 15-20 minutes of strength training (not a lot, but more than I normally do on a Monday).

I entered a triathlon in July this keeps me moving as quite honestly I’m so slow at running and cycling I might miss the cut off time ... and then there the matter of pools not being open yet ! It’s def good to have something other than the scale to focus - race is one week before there final weigh in so I thought they worked well together
