Does someone of you has experience in water retention due to stress? Always during weight-in periods in this bet, I gained water the day before weight-in and lost 2 days later? Nettle tea doesn't work.

I find that exercising 1st thing in the morning gives me more motivation for the rest of my day.
When I set my alarm and don’t feel like working out “because I’m tired” I remind myself that I’m not actually gonna get extra sleep if I skip my 30 min work out- and then I’ll have regrets. Once I’m out of bed I can just get going.

Sometimes I’ll reward myself with a new work out shirt or shorts if I meet my work out goals.

Loving the weather! Just went to the gym and pool and finished setting up the trampoline. That may be the best way to burn calories! Very excited and also got my roller blades out and fixed up my bike so hopefully tomorrow I’ll go out and use them. And now nap time lol

Oh and I signed up for a kickstarter to get my butt back in gear!

  • I learned it’s more productive to reward my weight loss achievements with cute workout clothes and pedi’s instead of unhealthy meals. All your hard work deserves something that makes you feel good about yourself! My sister got me this set for Christmas and I love wearing it. I used to wear really baggy clothing at home but I noticed i felt more energetic (for housework, not workouts lol) and aware of my body when wearing more form fitting things. It’s just a mental thing but it’s something that helps me get through the days 😊 Feel free to post a cute pic of you or something that makes you happy in the comments. Let’s spread some happiness around!!!

I'm very motivated today 😁 I finished my extra round in my diet. 🎉 Water retension, funneral lunch/dinner, unhealty travel provision gone. And now I reached again my lowest weight during this bet (already had it 2 weeks ago)

Yes, more or less. I'm still in the diet bet and the referee changed to kg, but I'm not able to submit unofficial weight-ins yet.

I grew up in MN, so I know all about long stretches of grey days with no sunshine, but I have lived in FL for 10 years now and we are on our 3rd day of gray skies and I just feel sooooo tired! What's the weather like where you're from? Does it affect your energy? Btw, I'm 48 so I'm no spring chicken!

It's been gray/rainy/cloudy here, too, and yes, def affects the energy level. I told my (sleepy) students yesterday that I have to remember to wear bright colors on days like these, get up a little early and have a dance party. Prince, anyone?!
