I won this first round of the Transformer, but it certainly wasn't because I was trying exceedingly hard. I won in the worst way possible. My husband of 26 years passed away suddenly last week from a heart attack. I haven't been able to eat.

I have tried to lose weight using Dietbet several times in the past, but I have never succeeded. Last month I decided that I truly was going to lose weight in order to feel and look better for both myself and my husband. I am going to continue on this journey, but I'm going to have a hole in my heart the whole time. I miss him with all my being.

You know how everyone always thinks it will never happen to them? That was me. We were building our dream home for our future retirement and life was exciting and we had things to look forward to. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen. Be sure to tell your loved ones that you appreciate them and that you love them. You just never know what the next day will hold.

So terribly sorry to hear of your loss. Sending my deepest sympathies and warmest wishes of peace and comfort.

I am so sorry. I can’t imagine - and I can tell he was truly your soul mate. Keep moving forward in whatever way you can, not just in DietBet but in life.

I’m so disappointed in myself. I didn’t reach my goal weight for this round. I was supposed to get to 69.5 kg and when I weighed myself for weigh in today I was at 69.9. It’s so frustrating because when I woke up yesterday I was at 69.7 and I had been at 69.5 last week but it keeps fluctuating. As soon as I woke up this morning I weighed myself and it said 69.5 and I was so excited so I went to get my phone and take the picture for weigh in and it said 69.7. It changed that much in 1 minute. Now I need to get down to 67 kg and I don’t know how I’m gonna do it when I can’t even get it to stay at 69.5. Any advice is much appreciated.

One thing I do if I am that close is go and exercise which can often sweat away some weight. Then come back and before drinking water weigh in.

Lots of frustrating fluctuations on my scale as well. I remind myself (over and over) that it’s just a number, the weight will drop with good choices. If I screw up, I forgive myself and move on. Walking, dancing, just moving help my frame of mind, especially getting fresh air. You’re not alone!

Has anyone tried Weight Watchers? I’ve seen it advertised so much, and they’ve been around forever (I think my mother even did it back in the 90s). Just curious about experiences for those that know.

I always found success with ww and I do like how they focus more on behavior and well being now. I just could keep my head it in the last round but def lost weight

I lost 10 pounds on WW (digital version) but gained it all back. It wasn't sustainable for me. It didn't sync with my Galaxy watch and when I ate out they never had my meal in there so I was guessing. I could have kept it, paid a ton of money and had to do a bunch of manual calculations but I'm lazy so I gave up. I'm back to counting calories now and am doing much better!
