I only caught part of it due to work but there was so much great info!! You answered some questions I was having as well as offered information on some trouble areas I was having and thought I might be stuck with for life. I'm in the process of 9 wk control freak but will be pushing play on some post natal and meditation this evening. Tytyty

  • Those push ups in power ignite!! ????
I wanted to get another workout in after this, but yeah.. that’s a hard no.

Weighed myself this morning and I’m 126.5 - goal weight 125.9 so feeling hopeful!

I came into this group overworked, burnt out and feeling the weight of a month where I ate terribly and got back into some bad habits. I’ve been more intentional this month, and what a difference in my mood!

Sleep and good eating play such a big role on our overall health. Perfect time to join one of these groups. So thankful for this and everyone here! ❤

Any tips for losing the last few pounds? I seem to be stuck! Also how tall are you? Random question I know lol but I’m trying to see where I can eventually get to!

QueenEss

Yass! Those pushups in burn zone never get easy! Nice job girl!! You totally got this!

I agree with others that are saying it’s probably related to water weight. Also possibly hormones for a time of the month? Just stay consistent with your workout and nutrition, you can do it!

Jas

Keep going, your weight can fluctuate with hormones/ cycle. Drink lots of water. You still have time.

Help please! 😩 I lost 2.6 pounds the first week. Then I gained a pound back in a few days and have been stuck at that weight for the remainder of week 2. If I hit my diet bet goal (6lbs - which seems impossible to do the last 5.5 in two weeks), I’ll be at my “goal” weight. I always heard the last few pounds are the hardest but I have no idea what I’m doing wrong or how to get off this plateau....HELP! 😩

Yes, water, whole foods, sleep, and exercise. You can do this!

NikoFriko

I have to say it again with the others, I can't stress enough how important sleep and water intake are for me. I track my data and compare sleep, water and weight loss and the 3 go hand in hand. Another strategy for me is to stop eating completely at 6pm. I try to workout early so I am not ramped up because when I work out in the evening I can't fall asleep as well. If I can't get my meal in before 6, then I just to Shakeology or something similar like a Premiere Protein shake. Honestly, I try to make sure I eat lots of protein on days I'm working out. Hope that helps a little. Don't forget to be still and do some meditation if you tend to feel stressed alot. Also a game changer!

I’m feeling extremely defeated today. I feel like this 4% is impossible. It’s my last bit I needed to lose for my goal weight. I did great first half of week 1, good the second half and have sucked the last 3 days. 😩 Really thinking of just throwing in the towel.

You can do this!!!

Give yourself grace and maybe a special bit of self care (bubble bath, paint your nails?) and do things that make you happy and your body feel good

Hi friends! How are you rocking the week 2 schedule? I am LOVING my new healthy ‘stir fry’ recipe experiments!! You can make them for one or for a family of any number!! Here’s the basics, and you can substitute any veggies YOU love!! Here is my recipe for 1-
Adjust serving sizes to accommodate more people.

Heat a Medium saucepan over medium heat.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of avocado oil (healthy fat)
Heat up your choice of “90second” lentils/ quinoa/ farro or brown rice in the microwave if you’re short on time. Fire up slices of your lean protein of choice (I use salmon, halibut or chicken). Once cooked, add 1/2 cup lentils and a cup of mushrooms (and or asparagus). Add diced red & yellow peppers and white onion. at the last moment, throw in handfuls of spinach. Add soy sauce to taste, and a TBSP of rice wine vinegar. Garnish with pepper or hot sauce of your choice. Enjoy!

Ps- comment below with your fave meditations!!!! Is EVERYONE doing one every morning AND eve??? This consistency is imperative to your mental shift.

I am relying heavily on “I am Worthy” right now.

NikoFriko

I've been completing the I AM Commited meditation every morning. I will keep listening to it every day this year. There is something about consistency and routine that stabilizes me and reminds me of what I have set out to do. I still listen to others when I need to feel encouraged or reminded of another intention. My biggest hurdle is staying committed to my wellness goals, the smallest obstacle and I fall down. I have committed this year to check myself daily and recalibrate my habits when I feel myself getting wobbly.

Today sucked. My son was off of school so my husband brought home Wendy’s for lunch. Dinner was take out Mexican because it was fundraiser night for my sons school. Then my husband talked me into getting us Dairy Queen after the kids were in bed. Ugh!!! I feel like I undid all of week 1 in one day 😩

You can get back on track! Maybe ask your family to not have those foods in the house. When my kids want fast food, we get what they want, then stop by Chipotle for the adults. I know how hard it is when you are the only one working toward a goal. My ex-husband used to bring home pizza and Taco Bell when I was dieting.

Stacy S.

Today is a new day! We all have those moments. It is what makes us human. Keep that chin up. YOU got this!

Help please! Week one was great. I lost 2.6lbs but that was after the first 3 days. I’ve lost nothing since. I think I’m not eating enough. I’m not hungry but I’m not eating the best foods maybe? I need some good protein options aside from eggs..

I was also going to say Greek yogurt. I like Oikos 000 because they don’t have sugar. Another thing I do as add collagen to soups and drinks for added protein. I also find that my weight loss is better when I limit cheese and increase water.

Stacy S.

I struggle with protein too :-(

  • Breakfast of oatmeal, shredded coconut and apple, coffee and water. Every week I’m knocking my creamer down. The temptations I made the kids and hubs are in the comments...didn’t want to risk anyone losing momentum by seeing the pic in the main post, 😂

There’s sure to be a way to make these a healthier indulgence. TO THE INTERNET!!!

Stacy S.

When I really crave them I make my own so it is less processed and have control of all the ingredients. I make from yeast dough. Way to stay strong.
