Ok, I have a little plan I’m writing down for accountability. Today I stuck to my 2B plan all day, drank most of my water, resisted the chocolate basket at work etc. On the way home I was starving so I ate an apple (no protein) then just kind of snacked on my kids’ snacks (aka cheddar bunnies) with them until dinner. SO tomorrow, I’ve already pre-tracked what I’m going to eat. I have artichoke hearts and chopped tomato ready and I’ll toss it in a big bowl and sprinkle with red wine vinegar and EBB seasoning when I get home and need a snack before dinner. I just can’t do cold, raw veggies in the cold wintertime. So that’s my snack plan! I’m proud that I recognized I needed a plan instead of just throwing in the towel. Nope, I want to make my bet this time!

That's amazing! I've noticed that it ALWAYS helps to have a plan made and a snack prepped the day before- as I am all too familiar with the "I'm starving!!" Snacking :joy: you've got this!

  • If anyone struggles to drink water in the morning, this has really helped me!

    I fill my shaker cup with half cold water and half hot water from my keurig. I chug that bottle and refill it with my energize + 25 oz of water. Then, after my workout, I refill my cup with half hot and half cold water and drink that while I get dressed.

    💥 75 oz in before 8am 💥

I'm having oral surgery on Friday. I can only eat soft foods for 7-10 days. I joined this group to keep myself accountable so I didn't just eat Mac and cheese and ice cream for ten days bc I felt sorry for myself. Any 2B mindset ideas that are soft??

  • Whenever I have a minute I’ve been trying to throw a veggie in the pan/air fryer/oven to make sure I always have a quick “veggies most” option on hand! Today is purple cabbage with lots of seasonings!

  • Last year I joined the diet bet to start my weight loss journey and kept going. I let life stressors get to me and now I’m back up 18lbs. I am so disappointed in myself and ashamed that I let it go this far. I am using this diet bet to get back into the swing of things and hopefully loose the weight for good. It makes me sad that I can rock a workout daily with no problem but I just can’t keep a grasp on the nutrition. I know what to do but do something different anyway!!! A cycle since I was a kid and I’m sick of it! Let’s do this guys!

It has been a very gradual change in mindset, resulting in gradual, but sustainable weight loss for me. It takes time. Just keep reigning yourself back in. Keep believing in yourself and trust the process. Remember that weight loss happens mostly in the kitchen. You CAN do this!

It’s been more than two years since I’ve done a diet bet (I’ve never won one…) I’m down 62 pounds since august 2020 thanks to 2b and have been unfocused this holiday season. I was down 64 pounds and feel down about the scale going up the last month and then I realized I maintained during the holidays 🙌
