What a great first week everyone! I am so proud of you all! No matter what happened this weekend, you still have the power to reach your goal. Make sure you’re always losing or learning and set a more concrete yet realistic plan for the coming week! You can do this!!

I’m very excited about my progress but still have to stay consistent and focused. I always have my rule of “3 by 3”- 3 Big water bottles by 3pm. I added in “and 1 by 9,” and it really changed things! Yes, I have to get up in the middle of the night but I probably was anyway. It’s so much better. I feel so much lighter and well hydrated, especially as the new spring days last longer.

  • Anyone else LOVE CSA season? Today I prepped some veggie fried rice with fresh eggs, bok choy, chives, and green onions all from my CSA, and I snacked on some roasted turnips (also from my CSA) while I was cooking so I could keep up with #veggiesmost. I love having tons of fresh veggies to hold me over while I wait for my own garden to grow ????

CSA stands for community supported agriculture, you pay a local farm and then get a share of their produce (mine is veggies and eggs but they also have fruit, pasta, honey, flour, flowers, meat, etc - anything that can be grown/made locally). It's a great way to get local, organic foods, while also supporting your local farms and community!

Holding my phone for pictures adds two pounds, but it also added two from my original weigh-in so I guess it doesn’t really matter since the amount I lost will be the same?

My husband really wants wings so I'll air fry them with a sugar free chili sauce and make root veggie fried, it's a mix of carrots, parsnips and beet fries. It looked good in the bag so I hope it tastes that way

I think preparation matters in terms of the texture. I’m still trying to learn which preparation method I like best! I actually do find them a bit “slimy” but not in a gross way, just a little more smooth than something like Palmini, for example (which I also love and highly recommend!). I agree that it takes on whatever flavor you put with it. I also like mine to have a little bit of a crunch to it. :relaxed:

I just got back from a nice walk (kid and husband-free, which is always nice!) and am starting to wind down for bed. I drank what felt like a ton of water today but, alas, I did not track the exact number of ounces. I'll be better tomorrow! I did, however, order the 2B Mindset membership from Beachbody today, so I'll be better able to track my meals and water intake soon. I'm feeling good...June is going to be a good month!
