Yaaay!! Just surpassed my Round 2 goal with 19 more days to go! Now I just need to either maintain or lose more from now until then cause I only surpassed it so far by .1 lb.

Also, I’m only about 14 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight which is my ultimate goal in this game! AND, I’m finally in the overweight range on the BMI calculator where I’ve been in the obese category for years! Super stoked to learn all this today!!

Just stay consistent and you will see positive change again! I was at the same weight for 2 1/2 weeks, but I kept on doing the same things and eventually, this week, I started losing more!

I’m getting far away from 2. round goal.
Made it in the first round and from there, just doing all the not so good stuff.
I need to get back on track and remember the reason WHY
After that the HOW is easy.

  • Successfully made it through my husband's birthday weekend and all that it entailed: eating fried foods + alcoholic beverages + ice cream cake. Luckily, we were super active both days and I didn't gain. If I can figure out balancing strict "normal" days with easing up for special occasions (instead of feeling like I failed and giving up completely), I might be able to have longer term success this time around!

Portions probably. Small slice of cake to have the taste, one drink only that kind of thing. I guess figure out why you are inbibing or eating it: for taste, for hunger, boredom, to be part of the fun, and adjust accordingly

    Stir Fry 2 ways
    1 - bag of coleslaw sautéed with ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, & green onions (think egg roll in a bowl)
    2 - Broccolli, Bell Peppers, & mushrooms sautéed with olive oil, garlic, & chile pepper
    Served with Shrimp!

    Bonus “firecracker” sauce to drizzle over the top — greek yogurt, honey, soy sauce, & Sriracha - add water until a drizzly consistency

I am definitely interested in the cole slaw stir fry - and I love recreating HelloFresh meals also. We have saved all the recipe cards from when were were enrolled, and some will be pretty easy to do!

@Keith heres an easy recipe for the sautéed coleslaw! Egg Roll in a Bowl :yum:

Since i had the shrimp I made it without the meat, but ive done it with ground turkey & its delicious!

  • Posted this in the other Transformer I'm in, but wanted to share here as well.

    A scale victory I hadn't thought very first DietBet was started on January 1 of 2018, and I won it, and went on to lose 80 pounds before my knee crapped out and I eventually had to get it replaced. That starting weight was 400.8.

    With today's verified round weight of 299.8, I'm officially down 101 DietBet pounds. When I saw that while looking at my profile today, it surprised me! I have to admit it's kind of nice having numbers sneak up on me like that!

    Of course, in binary age, it's only 5 pounds.....

  • It's raining pretty heavy in Houston this morning so instead of walking the dogs, I jumped on the treadmill before the family woke up. The dogs are sorely disappointed.
