I'm not where I want to be, but what helps me is small changes like changing a junk food recipe to a healthy one. Drinking carbonated club soda or water with ice instead of coke. Simple popcorn with lemon instead of chips and Doritos. Just small seamless changes to add up to a big change. To easily incorporate into my lifestyle.

Love reading about your efforts! I think the best thing about exercise is we can always tweak our plans to meet us where we are. Some days I like tough, but others a walk is the limit. Both are good!

Finally had time to submit round 1 and am so happy to have made my goal!

My partner and I were talking the night before last about how we used to do things after work like fish or ride bikes etc. We have definitely changed alot the last few years and are missing those days. I hope by spring I'll have more pep in my step to go be active after work again!

So glad I joined this dietbet to get motivated, active, and eat better. 😊😊

Anyone else getting excited for the start? I haven't done a dietbet in a couple years but could use the kick in the pants to increase my activity and overindulge on sweets less!

How are y'all planning to achieve your goals? I'm planning to walk at least a mile a day, track my food with Fitbit and make it to the gym for strength training 2-3 times a week. Currently I'm working on those goals and have gotten to several miles a week and 1x in the gym typically. So very much a work in progress!

Great plan! Mine is similar. Walk every day and do a strength training video at home 3 times a week. Hard part for me is tracking those calories!!!!

Anne, SAME! I HATE tracking calories, esp when trying to cook more bc I can't just scan the barcode :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:
