I went for the longest bike ride I have in a few years.

I’ve been on the last vacation of the summer - and although I lost weight, it’s not as much as I need to lose. Plant based now, but plenty of junk food. “I’m on vacation !”

As of this week, I’m going back to plant-based eating. Best I’ve ever looked or felt was when I was plant based. I had quit it when it became too hard when my son was diagnosed with cancer. For ease on my wife, who cooks a lot, I never went back and have eaten as an omnivore. But I explained to her this week that while I love her cooking, I want my health back. Three days in and I forgot that I actually LIKED eating this way. Bowels immediately improve. Here’s to a new month!
