Non-scale victory of the week!

goal met last week! this week goal to sustain the loss! I cut out half my vanilla coffee routine. and instead of skipping breakfast only to eat a late lunch and big dinner and deserts, I'm forcing myself to make the time to eat breakfast. get my metabolism going fast and first in the moring. skipping meals never does me good for my metabolism. it makes it slower than a slug! light lunch. portion control dinner and my meals in general. and no big deserts, if I want a sweet , have a tiny sweet.

Non-scale victory of the week!

not eating pizza everyday ROFL this week been craving endless pizza. i didn't give in! woohoo!! I've been trying to maintain my weight naturally this month allowing for my body to re-acclimate to my new found weight loss. But like I said in my last entry trying for 190 next. it feels like I'm starting all over again but that's just the cravings part. I'm on my way down systematically. Patience is key. cuz I don't want to gain anyway weight back. and that goal is accomplished Thank God! New phase coming heading for 190 God willing now! Time to overcome the 200's once and for all!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I think I've eaten a bit more than needbe on many of the meals and cheated a few more times than I wanted, but definitely haven't eaten all the cravings I've been wanting. I continue to say no to all the foods I would like to eat (portion sizes and cheats) and just try to stay in healthy limits each meal. and let my body adjust to the 200 range. which I'm very happy about. I feel like I did great in maintaining but I also feel like I gave in too much to some of the foods on my no list. had I not given in several extra times I'd probably be 195 today. not 200 lol. but that's OK! cuz ultimately I know I'm purposely trying to adjust to 200 and maintaining the last few weeks. so when I hit my diet hard again at calories and workouts I can easily drop to the next phase. it's all phases. :)

Non-scale victory of the week!

Just eating normal , being normal busy working mom and not gaining any weight the process. allowing my body to adjust to my weight loss so far. and let it all settle in comfy. ready to trick my body now, just when it thought ok cool we happy now. my body happy at at a comfy 202-203.. I'm gonna throw the diet back at it and workout plan for another 10 pound loss. why do people gain weight back so fast once they lose it? cuz they don't settle into each new phase of new weight loss. be patient with your body and your hormones. u know it's alot of stress and hormonal chaos sometimes in the body to lose so much weight so fast... I'm trying to avoid that at all costs. I'm purposely give my body a break every 5-8 pounds and let it rest and settle into its new zone. I want my body stabilized and hormones healthy and stabilized not in freak out mode. That's why I do my systematic phases!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

nothing.. following my phases!

Non-scale victory of the week!

constant defeating of my bad cravings! woot! I gave myself a 4 on the scale for the first time this , due to doubling up on some carbs at a few meals and cheese with carbs. still haven't actually truly done a cheat. but I could do a bit better on the carb front for a few of those meals.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

more exercise. but I hurt my knee doing one legged hop skotch:( so that completely derailed my workouts for the past 4 days:(

Non-scale victory of the week!

Everything is a Victory!!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Nothing! Everything in phases! My brain says I could've done a bit more exercise. But that's the tough 15yr veteran personal trainer in me talking, yet I know metabolically, nope, I did and accomplished my plan for the week in its phase! One phase at a time! I'm not throwing down my toughest workouts on myself on purpose. I did incredible thank YOU God! Each week in phases! I completed last week's phase awesome according to plan. Right now is all about nutrition & calories! Allowing my body for each individual phase & it's time frame. This following week will incorporate a little more exercise and lil longer durations and a little tougher than the week before.

Long-term goal weight

140 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

DAY1-I'm ready to make the greatest transformation of my life! As a now fat former personal trainer I'm gonna kick my own butt! My problem the last few years is time & energy! 'No time' to cook healthy food,& definitely no energy to do so lol.& No time or motivation for exercise! Though I know I can find it if I put effort into it! All the excuses clients gave me over all the years I trained people I now understand at a complete new level lol! Everything right now &for several years was about convenience &eating whatever I want, when I wanted! Now I have to prioritize my eating & exercise before convenience! I know how to train my body, be fit, & eat healthy. I used to do that daily and live it most of my life. After having a kid though I put my gym rat lifestyle out the window w/all my time consuming workouts & healthy habits behind me &just focused on being a mom &just enjoyed time off of being a strict trainer & "letting myself go" lol eat whatever I wanted without a worry. Not gonna lie, lol I enjoyed the time away from the gym &strict eating habits but now it's time to reclaim myself &my body for the sake of my life &poor health. I can't say I'm looking forward to workouts &saying no to pizza, soda, & ice cream at any wim but it's time to get healthy again! I do miss the feeling of being strong, & that endorphin rush of weight training & the awesome feeling of being sore for days after brutal fun workouts &watching new cuts in my muscles. These days I just feel terrible & so tired all the time. &I watch new cellulite cuts instead of muscle cuts
