Non scale victory: went in to buy a jacket and belt for an outfit for work. Told the woman at the store I needed a 2x and she told me I did not. The 1x jacket was a bit big still (considering I was trying on OVER a cardigan) and I grabbed my usual 2x belt. I think I could have wrapped it around myself twice. She brought me a MEDIUM belt. It fits. I ended up going from a size 20 dress to a size 12/14 when I saw how much too big the size 20 was on me.

  • STORY TIME!

    So I told myself I was going to go to the gym 4 times this week! I went yesterday and ran 4 miles. Today, I thought I would take a fast pace yoga class to stretch my muscles out but also get my heart rate up. So I was looking through the list of gym classes happening today and sure enough I found -what I thought was- a yoga class. So I show up for my yoga class and the lady starts talking about burpees, squats, lifting weights and HIIT workouts! Turns out Tabata is not a type of yoga! ????😂???? Well I’m not quitter! I signed up for this, I’m sticking it out! ????😂????

    I almost threw up after class, but I made it!

Some how over night I put 2 pounds back on and really lost this weigh in for round one. Now to get back on track i need to lose 12 pounds in 29 days…. Not feeling it at all.

Yes! One day at a time. The health benefits and bigger payouts are later down the road. You can definitely catch up. If not this month, then in a future one. Just do your best. You can totally get to the 10% in 6 months!

I did. Left on a road trip from CA to CO, came home at 5:50 am the first day of weigh in. Thankfully I really stuck to my plan while on my trip. I love road snacks and fancy gas stations, so it wasn’t easy!
