Been a tough month for me and while I have done well maintaining I have been losing the same 2 pounds and gaining. Any tips for end of the day movement that will help the body not water retain? I am going to try my best to get to at least 1/2 of the weight I need to lose on this one.

I do simple stretches and yoga in the evening during down time.


Def cut sodium, drink lots of water to pee a lot. Maybe cut any drinks with caffeine, dairy or crap like diet stuff. I drink water 1st thing, try to workout or walk just like a mile or so to burn fat. And weigh in am before eating or drinking too much water. trying to fast till lunch time. Larger meals during the day and light ones in the evening. Sometimes I’ll just have a protein shake for dinner.

I'm halfway there. It's been so hard to focus. At 10pm I feel like the cookie monster! I'm feeling positive for the 2nd half of this tho. I gotta keep my $!

When I do the calculation my calorie goal for the day is 946 which doesn't seem sustainable. Any suggestions?? I'm 33, 220 lbs, 5'5" female and calculated for sedentary because I'm recovering from a postpartum complication and not allowed to work out. I am a teacher so I'm on my feet all day but I've been one for 11 years so I don't really consider that exercise??? Idk.

I also calc you near 900 cals (too low!). From what I’ve read and learned, our BMR (because of our weight & height - I am similar) is close to what we should consume … I calc you around 1700 cals BMR. So if you wanted to lose, reduce this by ~ 300/400 cals taken in/consumed and try to see if you can burn 500/600 active cals per day (add walks, more movement) and you’ll hit your 800/1000 cals burned/reduced from 1700 BMR. :thumbsup:

Remember that’s there is exercise activity and non exercise activity. Both are factored into your TDEE. So even though you plan not to exercise, standing all day while teaching among other chores still count in your expenditure. I would say you’re light activity as well.
