Happy New Year All You Rockstars!!


I want you to feel so good and proud of yourselves for being here today. Pledging to this goal is so important. We need to be in peak physical shape as a means of protecting and optimizing our physical and mental health and wellbeing. Just know that this bet is a win win! There are 2 outcomes that are both fantastic. Either you invested $35 to refocus your energy off of politics and drama and more into a positive routine and community of supportive people. And lose some weight and learn better habits, insights and recipes through the process.

    You are almost there! I know there have been ups, and downs, good days bad days! Big wins, small wins, but the way you should look at this is- it's all growth- and when you grow your learn. I have learned so much from you, and hopefully you have learned so much about yourselves from this past bet. Use those insights to propel you forward toward an on going healthy and sustainable lifestyle.

THAT WAS AWESOME!! My first live Zoom!! Learning that melting mode is an every single day thing will make a huge difference in my success. I was only trying to have occasional weight loss weekends and I was closer to maintenance mode than to melting mode for a long time! THIS is why my weight loss has been so slow! Not any more, baby! :sweat_smile:

I was doing really good. -1lb the first week. -3lb the second. Then yesterday I had a small dumb accident. Ended in the ER with IV meds to keep my swollen foot at bay. Can’t work out. Tried ti eat right. Still from yesterday to tiday i gained 5lb :( literally all my progress plus change, in one day. And I can’t workout. And I am in pain. It is really hard not wanting yo stuff my face on sweets :( but i wont.
I can lose weight. I will lose weight. I care to lose this weight. My body loves to lose weight and so do i.

Update: THANKS for reading me, and answering me. It pulled me out of any doubt i had. I might need to get foot surgery, But not soon. I’m cleared to walk and even do upper body strength training. I’ve lost 8 pounds (so 4 more vs last monday) and i’be eaten out 2 days in a row planning my meals around veggies (one of them to Texas de Brazil!) and stayed in plan so THANKS! For reading me and supoorting me

Hi! I’m Jessica and I’m a Mom of 3 girls. I’m really glad to have this accountability, even though I’ll be having a tonsillectomy in a week, but I wanted to make sure to do great before that and continue afterwards once I can eat normal foods again.
